Amazing Food and Culture tour - We loved every minute of this tour. Chip was our tour guide for the NYC Heart & Soul of Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour. He did a fantastic job of introducing us to some amazing food options and shared his knowledge of the culture and history of this portion of Manhattan. We occupied our time with a number of great people from around the U.S. Our next visit to NYC will most definitely included another Food Tour with the wonderful people from Foods of New York Tours!

My favorite activity in NYC on all 4 of my trips - Ive been on 4 of these food tours and each has been exceptional. The food is the best I find in NYC and the tour guides are knowledgeable and entertaining. Don’t go anywhere else-the other tour we took was so blah compared to Food Tours of NY!

Entertaining! Informative! Great food! Amazing culture! - When I tell you Ryan is absolutely amazing, believe it! He was funny, knowledgeable, and highly entertaining! The historical facts that he sprinkled in, coupled with his personal anecdotes made the entire experience a great one. The food was great, service was stellar, and I'd recommend this tour unabashedly! Excellent experience!

Great experience and food - My mom, sister and I really enjoyed the food tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide, Ryan, was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the city and the area we were touring. He was great at getting all of us to chat and have fun together while we toured. The establishments we visited were fabulous as well. Loved the Cuba restaurant as well as Montes for our sit down tastings. The pizza restaurant, Artichoke, offered us huge half slices of the Margarita pizza as well as smaller (but plenty large) portions of the artichoke pizza. I’m dreaming about that Margarita pizza…. The other stops for iced tea, coffee beans and chocolate were great as well. We definitely got plenty of food- the price of the tour felt like a great value for all that we received! We will definitely be back to NYC and plan to attend another tour with this company.

A Fun Time! - I would recommend this food tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide, Ryan, was entertaining and filled with knowledge about the area. As a solo traveler, he and the others in the group made me feel very comfortable. The food was all above-average. A very nice time.

Great Guided Tour But Food is Just Fine - Our tour guide was great and the none food related portion of the tour was wonderful, but I'm giving this tour 3.5 stars because we felt that the food was not worth the price paid for the tour, especially if you have specific dietary restriction. Highlight for us was the spinach + cheese empanada with rice and beans at Cuban restaurant, the Porto Roco Importing Co. and Sullivan Street Tea & Spice Company. The latter two shops we visited after the tour to purchase coffee beans and teas as gifts. We felt, a neighborhood walking tour without the food would have been better for us.
