Terrific insights - I've been to the museum before, but this tour included lots of personal stories and background info that is not found in the museum - it's a really great add-on experience. Liz was terrific - stories of the humanity not only on the day, but also the incredible thoughtfulness regarding the rebuild of the community. Liz struck the right blend of hope along with the horror - a hard tightrope to walk. Definitely recommend this tour as a companion piece to the museum tour.

We were extremely moved walking the entire area, witnessing first hand the rebuild, and the memorials for those lost.

booking cancelled by tour operator - I'm disappointed with this tour operator. I booked and paid for the walking tour with Viator 9 days before the tour. 3 1/2 days before the tour, I received an email from the tour operator informing me that the tour was sold out. I was offered a different time on the same day or a refund. Because the alternate tour time did not work with my itinerary, I did not get to go on this tour. I'm not sure how a tour I had booked and paid for more than a week in advance was suddenly sold out, but I think it leaves room for improvement in how this tour company manages its bookings.
