The Hamptons - Excellent tour. Our tour guide was outstanding!!!!!! Tour guide was a student earning extra money. Learned a lot about New York, Long Island, The Hamptons and more.

Great intro to the Hamptons - "Take the bus and leave the driving to us"-an old advertising slogan, but very true here! Not something you want to rent a car and do yourself. Traffic in/out of NYC is nightmarish!! But our capable driver was up to the challenge and safely delivered us to our breakfast stop at a Panera location. Great food; extremely fast service. From there, on to the quaint local communities on the east end of Long Island. We had about 45 minutes off the bus to explore the Main streets of each of these towns, and then rode the bus past the beachfront estates of the rich but not necessarily so famous (think investment bankers, not media stars!) A stop at a scenic beach to feel the sand between your toes, then on to a whirlwind tasting at a local Winery. Lunch not included, but an hour was afforded in the final small town to choose an eatery that appealed to you. All the while, the very knowledgeable tour guide enlightened and entertained us with details of what we were seeing, delivered with a delightful German accent. The only downside for us...2 hours was alloted to patronize an outlet mall. We have those much closer to home, and would have preferred that time to have been used exploring more local color.

Poor viewing of the homes in Southampton able to see Homes) due to privacy shrubbery - Viewing the yachts and boats on the return. At the harbor was great. The main interpreter was also great

This trip was not what I... - This trip was not what I was expecting, itā€™s too long and not worth the amount one is charged especially when you have to take into account the exchange rate.

Hampton tour - We enjoyed our trip to the Hamptons despite the very overcast and windy weather. There were several language groups on the bus so it was a bit annoying trying to listen to the English while the other guide was also speaking. The guide was very pleasant but not very informative- she did have to translate into German as well. The winery wasnā€™t ready for us and kept us waiting and the gentleman was not very friendly. The outlet shopping was of no interest to us - we would have rather spent more time in the Hamptons. We would have liked to have had some photo stops along the way.

Great views but disappointing info!! - It was fabulous visiting the Hamptons, the location of so many of the shows and movies that I love and Coopers Beach was amazing to see! But the tour guide was very disappointing, she gave very limited information during the 12 hours we were together but on the other hand the two Italian tourists at the back of the bus had 12 hours of constant information from their guideā€¦.. I wished that I could understand and be in that group!

An ok getaway - The breakfast location was good. We rode for 2 hrs. and saw a simbolic duck. Then rode a bit longer to enter a billionaires' street that ended in a beach. I was not impressed with riding a street to look at rich peoples' houses with little context. We then spent 20 min. at a beach, on a sunny day i hope its a longer stay. The time spent at south hampton and Sag Harbor was nice. We were given time to stroll hrough the streets. The wine tasting should be after lunch not before. I also think that it should include two wineries since we went to a winery section of long island. Finally the outlets. I was ok with the outlet but not the reason to take the trip. I think the trip was light enough to include another location like montauk. I also think that this trip is an ok getaway but it need more purpose/ intention. It does not call for two tour guided either. The one assign to the italian speaking group did not really do much. Honestly, for a trip like this, there is no need for a tour guide. Consider doing away with guides and lower the price of the trip. The bus driver can tell people at what time to come back to the bus. The tour guide lady was ok. She saved the driver from getting lost.

There were zero stars would deserve those - My sister and I were in New York and had paid 335 euros (for 2) for a day trip to the Hamptons. Unfortunately at the time of departure I was sick, I had to wait for it to pass and this prevented me from reaching the starting point in good time. We then took action to ask for a point of the various stages that the bus did to reach it with a taxi at our expense but, despite the many phone calls and requests made, they did not want to indicate any stops (which we knew they would do in different areas of the tour) claiming that once started they no longer allowed participation. Really bad, bad answers, they never called back and in the end they did not allow us to reach them because we did not know where. We tried to request reimbursement, since the cause had been the illness but nothing to do, they kept our money, many, without giving us any service. So what about, if there were zero stars or even fewer I would have given those for this experience and of course I will not turn to them for the future Date of experience: 02 July 2024
