Great way to see the sights the buses run frequently. - Great way to get around and see all the main sights of New York. The busses run frequently and the staff are very helpful. We had a wheel chair with us and were able to get on and off most of the busses. One bus did not have wheel chair access, but another bus was only 5 minutes away.

Not worth it - Not worth the price. We booked the 48 hr pass bc it was less than day plus night tour. Day tour never came and app wasn’t updating properly and was no help. We ended up spending more money for an uber and wasted a lot of time. Night tour was 45 min late leaving, so again, wasting time and was very poorly narrated. With all the NYC personalities living there surely you could find someone instead of an AI with dumb jokes.

Avoid this company - Accosted on the street on the day of arrival. We had used hop on hop off buses before in other countries and cities and this is a great way to get around so we thought why not. It was around £200 for us for 3 days so not cheap but included all 3 routes, a couple of other routes and a ferry to Statue of Liberty so fair enough. The earphones and guided tape was fine and the buses run fairly frequently. That is the one star I have given. Firstly the buses are filthy dirty. If you're downstairs you can barely see out the windows. They are clearly old as we saw one broken down on every day we were there! Secondly they run frequently and you get a little map but there is no number on the stops so unless its obvious you have no idea when to get off or on or where you are. Thirdly the staff and drivers are surly and rude although to be fair it wasn't all of them but overall the most unfriendly of all the bus tours we have taken. Finally one of the routes we booked a tour which was included only to be told on the street corner (where the tickets sellers hang out) that the trip isn't part of it anymore and to choose another one. They were quite helpful until they found out we had already bought tickets and they then walked off!!! We do these hop on hop off buses all the time and this one was the worst. The buses are disgusting and the routes are confusing and not clearly marked. Help is hard to come by if they aren't making more money out of you. Please please choose the Big Bus Tours instead. We were tired after hours of travel and probably should have read the reviews on here before booking so lesson learnt!

Shockingly bad 0/10. Save your money - Party of 5. paid $260 hard sell on the streets. busses unrelaible, and staff absoloutly useless. Cheaper taking a taxi to see the sights. I would rec that you stay away. I complained but they didnt want to know.

Worst tour company in New York - This is THE WORST tour company we have ever experienced. The buses were filthy, the staff had no idea what was going on. They promised us there was a last bus from Times Square at 5.45, we got there at 5.15 and we were told the last one left at 4pm. The next day we asked 3 separate staff members if they would stop at Chelsea Market.., all 3 said yes… they drove straight by and stopped at Hudson which was a $20 cab ride back to our hotel. It was also raining and the entire top deck leaked water all over the seats. This company is a disgrace…. Find another operator

Crap service - We purchased 3 adult and a teen passes for hop on hop off plus a night tour and a boat trip We then further purchased the same group tickets to Woodbury common We turn up to get our pre booked bus to Woodbury common to be told the Topview company hadn’t booked out reserved spaces This weekend will now entail a protracted refund from TopView 7th Jan prebuilt pled night bus. Wouldn’t allow us to sit on the just until 6passengers had arrived, Wouldn’t recommend or ever use again

Don't fall in this - The audio system is completely damaged and there is no way to switch channels or stir the volume. Some don't even fit the phone pins. Extremely rude drivers. Besides, they lied about an extra ride you would have and didn't have. Do not recommend, better use other services such as Big bus

Complete waste of money - Complete waste of money. This company only cares about selling tickets. The downtown route doesn’t even exist – we tried to board at the first stop listed, and even though the bus was parked there, the driver told us to walk – in the rain and cold, with an elderly lady in our group – to another stop. We asked a TopView ticket seller for directions, and he flat-out refused to help us because we already had tickets and weren’t buying from him. My elderly mother was forced to walk 25 minutes in the freezing rain because of this company’s appalling service. Don’t waste your money on them – their treatment of customers is beyond disgraceful.

Find a better option - Audio was not working at numerous seats, so no narration for over 75% of the time, bus schedules not as indicated and buses not running as frequently so could not utilize bus but for two segments. Representative offered another tour but we were leaving the city and not going to invest in flights, hotels, meals etc just to take another non-narrated bus ride around lower Manhattan. A waste of time and money.

Topview Sightseeing - Total garbage tour, save your cash and walk, it will be quicker. Bus tours in New York are wholly pointless due tk the volume of traffic.
