The story of the story, must see! - So glad we were able to book this tour! Evie was amazing. She led us through the museum, detailing the history of “the story”. She was very engaging and knowledgeable about the whole museum, but the “story” and displays she shared to convey it was a wonderful way to see the museum in that light.

A fantastic whistlestop literary tour of the Met and its many treasures! - The tour was brilliant. Evie was a charming and inspiring tour guide with a real passion for her subject and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the museum! Evie transported us from Ancient Greece through Persia, ancient Egypt, medieval Britain, and Imperial China (to name but a few!) all the while cleverly interweaving the theme of stories and narratives, and their fundamental role in our lives. Highly recommended!

The Met but with a Literary Twist - Evan took us on a lovely tour and Hero's Journey through the Met and incorporated some well known literature and story telling styles that made things fun, and approachable. My literary-minded daughter and her best friend had an amazing time and so did I! Thank you, Evan!!

Visita de Encanto - Great and very knowledgeable guide. She knows everything about this fantastic museum. She was polite, charming and made us have a great experience. I will certainly refer this to my friends and hope to do the tour soon again.

A fascinating Met experience - Evan is a wealth of knowledge and such a compelling storyteller and tour guide. She brings more dimension and depth to the Met than one could find individually or on a standard tour. Very interesting and entertaining !

excellent tour - My group of friends took Evan's "Art of Stories" tour. This was a perfect tour for our group's love of books, art and stories. Evan is a wealth of information and knows how to weave a tale that intersects the story with the beautiful art in front of you. We had an amazing time and learned so much.

Awesome tour - Our bookclub from California took a trip to NYC and took this tour at the met. We learned so much about the history of stories, through the art of the Museum. It was a wonderful tour.

Lots of fun and lots of learning - If you love art and literature, you will find the story telling throughout The Met a very engaging experience. I was with a group of friends and we all agreed that it was a well worthwhile experience. I personally would like more stories related directly to artworks, like we did with a Renoir painting, but that is just a personal preference. Lots of fun and lots of learning all at the same time!

A one of a kind experience in NYC! - Looking for a creative, interesting and fun thing to do in NYC? May I recommend Fable & Lark tours! I took a tour with a group of friends and all of us loved it. The tour guide keeps a good pace, you learn the big picture details about the MET but what I loved is you get to hear the behind the scenes stories and interesting facts about the art that you can't learn anywhere else. I can't recommend this tour enough.

Unforgettable Tour! - Evan is hands down one of the very best docents I’ve encountered. We have now done 3 tours through Fable & Lark and they have all blown me away. Evan is engaging and really knows her stuff! One of the best things is she speaks in such a conversational tone that you might miss that you’re learning things! All 3 of the tours we have done with them have brought us to areas of The Met that you would probably never make your way to on your own. They have a few more tours that will 100% be a part of our next trip to NYC.
