A delightful day in Long Island wine country - We had a wonderful day in Long Island on our wine tour. Great experience. Our tour guide, Sam, was a Sommelier and very knowledgeable about wine and the area in general. We enjoyed learning about how to taste wine and about the different wine grapes. The bus was very comfortable and we enjoyed visiting two wineries as well as a farm stand. It was a great way to spend an early fall day.

Learn about good wine and have fun at the same time. - The trip out to the wineries on the north fork of Long Island was smooth and easy (1.5 hrs). Bus was comfortable and had a restroom. We went to 2 wineries, tasting 4 wines in each place. They were both very different styles of wine. Sam, the sommelier, had lots of wine knowledge and was able to discuss the characteristics of each wine etc. There was plenty of time to wonder around, buy wine or have an extra glass or 2 in the sun. Lunch consisted of 2 rolls, chips and water. All local produce from a local bakery and were very nice and sufficient for me. At the second winery more food could be ordered at your own expense if required. Our last stop for the day was at Briermere Farms, that sell the most delicious fruit pies. We were dropped back in Manhatten around 6.30 pm. Great day!

Day trip to Long Island Wineries - Great day trip to two Long Island vineyards. Our tour guide and driver were very nice. They provided water bottles to us. We visited RGNY which i loved. Wish we had more time there. The second one was McCall Wines where we had lunch and a wine tasting. The lunch was delicious: a turkey sandwich with orange marmalade and a caprese sandwich. We were also given kettle chips from North Folk chips. At the end, the tour stops for about 20 minutes at a farmers market where you can buy local produce. The only thing i would say is, i wish we had more time at each vineyard. After the tastings, we only had about 30 minutes on our own. Overall, a great experience.

Great experience - Great experience! Loved the host. The tour bus restroom was horrible. Please make sure the restrooms and bus are clean before each tour

Enjoyable but with some limitations. - We enjoyed visiting the wineries. However we thought the information provided about the wines was limited. We would like to have received more information. The food at the second winery was basic.

BEAUTIFUL DAY TRIP - The two vineyards were ok. The first one was a bit more upscale and more elegant. They should reverse the winery and have the lunch at RGNY as the 2nd stop. Our bus driver Richard was amazing and got us there and back safely. The extra stop at the farmers market is good but a bit pricey.

Daytripping - The bus was a 2 out of 5 due to age, lack of working seat belts. The driver was a 5 out of 5 due to driving excellence, professionalism, courtesy and personable demeanor. RGNY was a 4 out of 5 due to cost and quality of wine, beautiful property and ambiance. Would give it a 5 if lunch would have been provided by RGNY with additional tastings instead of going to Pelligrini. Pleigrini gets a 2 out of 5 for subpar wines and lessor property. The farmer's market was expensive but a nice way to end the day. I love the lemon bars. The lunch provided was a 3 out of 5, just OK.
