Amazing University Tour with David and Seth! - I had the pleasure of joining my University students on a Like a Local food tour with Seth and David. Our guides showed us some of the most delicious food spots in Downtown Manhattan. For many of the first-year students, this was their first tour of this area in New York City, and a few of them said the tour made them feel more at home. They were thrilled to 'discover' new spots outside of the campus that were affordable and that they could show their other friends. The tour included the perfect blend of humor and history--both of our tour guides made us laugh all along the way--and they made sure to show us a few off-the-beaten-path spots in between food destinations. We definitely plan to include these tours as part of our annual offerings after having such a fantastic experience. Thank you to the team at Like a Local!

Food tour for locals and tourists alike - We live right over the river in NJ, and this allowed us to explore some sections of the city that we hadn’t before. We loved the historical tidbits as much as the wide selection of foods we sampled. Our guide Seth was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and was happy to answer questions. Highly recommend!

Great food tour with a great food guide - Morgan was a great tour guide. He apparently filled in last minute for the original tour guide and did a fantastic job. Great food selections and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Made the event exciting and fun.

Great Tour of Lower East Side! - Soooo many wonderful aspects! First, walking the neighborhoods with a local, getting such great history of wonderful buildings and businesses. Then, the food! So much, so good, with such entree into those immigrant cultures through the most basic of elements--their food. Our tour guide, Seth, could not have been more accommodating, warm or instructive.

Great for locals and visitors - This tour was a great way to see more of the area and learn some history. Each stop was well considered for great food and an interesting story. Highlights were the Italian gnocchi in Essex market and dumplings. It would have been nice to have the tour coordinated so the food was ready for us when we arrived at each stop, we ended up waiting for a while to really get started. But overall, we had a great time and tried some new spots (and we're locals!)

LES food tour - excellent experience! - It was a very, very rainy day, but Seth made the tour fun and tasty! And he was skilled at finding scaffolding where our group could shake off the water and enjoy the delicious tastes. It was a great way to learn about new neighborhoods I had not experienced before. Essex Market was a highlight. Would highly recommend!

Great rainy day activity - This tour had so much food. It was really great trying food from a lot of places I'd heard about but never been to. The guide shared excelletn history and info and we covered three different neighborhoods. It was raining but didn't feel like the tour was any less fun.

Guide to the food of Little Italy and Chinatown - A very good tour led by the amenable and knowledgeable Seth. We visited eight different take-out establishments sampling mainly Italian and Jewish food. We were all stuffed by the end!
