Amazing Food Tour with Scott!! - Had an absolutely amazing time on this tour with Scott! The food was so diverse and delicious, and it was so fun hearing about the history behind all of the food! Scott went above and beyond to make this tour memorable, and it was absolutely amazing!

Teaching My Teens About My Beloved City Through Food! - I’m a born and bred New Yorker, now on the west coast. I took this food tour while visiting family with my young teens. My brother and his girlfriend who still live in NY joined us. It was super fun walking around the Lower East Side, teaching my kids about the history of my beloved city, and learning a bunch myself! And we got to sample some delicious food along the way. Scott, our tour guide, was super enthusiastic and welcoming. He was gracious with our super chatty kids and answered lots of questions. He was very flexible and kind. Would highly recommend this tour!

Learn New York History Through Food - We did the Iconic Foods of New York tour. I was there with my husband and 13 year-old grandson. We absolutely loved this tour. What I loved most about it was that we got a mini history of New York through food. The tour took place in Lower Manhattan where most of the immigrants settled. We learned about the Dutch immigrants, Jewish immigrants, Italian, Chinese, Irish, etc. We learned how the foods were brought over from these various countries and how they evolved over time to what we know today as iconic New York foods. Scott was a fantastic, enthusiastic storyteller. He was a joy to be with. I highly recommend.

Taste of NY perfection - We absolutely loved our New York foods tour! It hit so many fun foods that were family friendly. Each person in our family ages 9 up to 48 Enjoyed it, and everyone had different favorites! The history of the food and the culture in New York was an added delight. Best dumplings I’ve ever had!

Unforgettable New York Experience! - Scott’s Iconic Foods of New York food tour was was one of my favorite afternoons in NYC!
Instead of having to find the best bagel, pizza, etc. in New York, Scott did all the work, found them for me, and put them into a fun, unforgettable tour that showcased the city, it’s history and it’s food.
Scott’s passion for food and the city are clear. He created a really great experience for our group and I’d highly recommend his food tours.

Excellent food tour - taste of lower east side - Hank was very knowledgeable on the food and neighborhood history of New York. We had a great time. Our your included donuts, pizza, soup dumplings in Chinatown, bagels and lox, and New York cheesecake. All the establishments were excellent and Hank made this an educational, delicious and fun experience.

FIVE STARS FOR PORK BUNZ - Wow! Hard to put into words how delicious and fun the Chinatown tour was. Scott is a gregarious and knowledgeable tour guide and on this tour you will hit all the best spots and learn so much along way. Scott will keep a smile on your face and your tummy full! I still dream about the pork buns! A great activity for friends, lovers, or family!

History, Atmosphere, and Food all 10/10 - Ultimate Food Tours curated a fantastic experience through one of Manhattans most culturally rich neighborhoods, the Lower East Side. The historical aspect of the tour was gripping, really allowing you to appreciate how New York’s various cuisines evolved and played off one another. The company was great and the tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was having the best experience possible regardless of dietary restrictions and / or preferences.

A PERFECT DAY - No trip to New York City is complete with taking the Iconic Foods of New York Lower East Side Walking Tour. Truly an amazing experience! Not only was the food OUTSTANDING, the tour itself provided view in NYC that we would have NEVER gotten on our own. I wish I could have taken this tour 5 times. It was, simply put, the BEST thing we did and we have told everyone about it. A day in NEw York City is not complete without taking this tour. 5 of 5 stars.
