Totally worth it!! - It’s the second time I’ve been in NY, I have already been on these places, but wanted to make it more organized this second time with my mom, and TOTALLY worth it!!!! They give you all historic data, movies references, and the perspective of the same place is totally different, I will suggest all my family and friends to take this tour, the way you see and get to know the area is so different! BETTER!! Now I came home to my husband mentioning all the fun facts, notes, movies references from this tour!! Keep it going guys! And for everyone else if you are thinking on getting it, just do it! It will enhance 100% your experience at NY gems! Good pace, we had opportunity to take pictures, ask questions, even with the busy time of December! Thank you for this great experience :)

Scratching the surface of New York - My family and I did 2 x 3 hour walking tours with James ( the best tour guide in NYC) through Funky Experiences. So informative, so funny, just extremely enjoyable. Made our short stay very efficient as we managed to see so much. Thanks so much James for sharing your vast knowledge of such an amazing city!

Highly Recommend! - Gabi and Maya are everything you could possibly hope for in a tour guide! Both are energetic, personable, and know their stuff! I was amazed by the amount of historical knowledge they shared and their enthusiasm during the tours. My friend and I booked two tours during our stay in NYC: The Must See Manhattan and Must See Downtown. We look forward to being able to book another tour when we return in the future!

An excellent Tour of Manhattan - My wife and I did both the Must-See Manhattan Tour and The Best of New York Food Tour, and both were equally excellent and both are highly recommended. This review pertains to the Must-See Manhattan Tour. First and foremost, our tour guide Gabby was excellent and took great care of us throughout the experience. She was full of fun facts and interesting details that only a NYC insider would know. She kept the tour on a steady clip to ensure that we got as much NYC knowledge as possible in our time together, but also was happy to pause for long enough for me to dip in to a local coffee shop that I had been wanting to visit. Sweet, personable, and full of information, Gabby was just great. The tour was well planned and well executed and was just what my wife and I would want on our first visit to NYC, but I would say that it could be just as good for others who have previously visited. Highly recommended, and thank you Funky Experience!

Excellent tour in NYC - We had an amazing time with our guide Gabby. She really took her time to make sure she interacted with everyone on the tour. You could tell she was very knowledgeable since she was able to answer every question we had, even if it wasn’t pertaining to what we were currently viewing. She made the tour very enjoyable and nothing seemed rushed. We will definitely be recommending the this tour for our friends and family. Thanks again Gabby for a great tour!

A Fantastic Experience - Our guide Maya was amazing! She was very kind and knowledgeable and made sure to keep our tour at a pace that was comfortable for everyone. The groups are kept small (ours had 9 people) and it really was the perfect size for a tour. Every place advertised on the tour was seen, so that was true, we started at Grand Central and ended at 30 Rock, and yes the tour was exactly 2.5 hours, also as advertised, so that was really cool as well. Honestly I am so happy I stumbled upon Sara’s videos about NYC travel when I was researching things to do in the city, she most definitely did not disappoint! I recommend watching her channel and definitely taking this walking tour…you will not regret it!!
For reference I took the tour with my 26 year old daughter and her best friend….so a a party of 3 women from the south felt comfortable and safe on our tour. Thank you Maya for the amazing experience and memories.

Excellent - highly recommend - Outstanding - James was terrific - informative, funny and easy to listen too. Great communication before and during the tour. I would say this was one of the best walking tours we’ve done and you learn and see a lot about mid -Manhattan.

Excellent experience Funky Tours. - Our tour guide James was excellent. He is a fountain of information and wove the history of iconic places with recent events including movie making. He was open to any questions and took the time to make sure we were all comfortable and safe. I would use Funky Tours again and highly recommend James as a tour guide.
