Amazing tour of Manhattan and Brooklyn - We had the most amazing day! We started the day with Sheldon and a driver picking us up at our hotel. We went to Central Park and learned the history behind it. Next was Grand Central Terminal. We've been there before but it's been years and it's changed so much. It's so nice and clean now. Next we headed to Brooklyn. We started by driving over the Queensboro bridge and through Greenpoint. Williamsburg was such a quaint neighborhood. Lots of cute stores. We didn't want to take up too much time eating so we grabbed a slice of pizza from Joe's pizza. It was so good! Stopped at Domino park to look at the Williamsburg bridge. Next to Dumbo. More high end neighborhood with great stores and views of the Brooklyn bridge. We ended our tour of Brooklyn by stopping at Brooklyn heights. It was a beautiful area overlooking the East river. On our way back to our hotel we stopped at the Oculus. It is such a good addition to ground zero and a must see. Sheldon was the best tour guide. We had the best day with him. We appreciated all of the detailed history he gave us. And he's funny. We will definitely book with him next time.

4 hour New York City tour - We enjoyed our tour of New York City with our guide Marshall! Very Informative, friendly, and I feel like we got to see quite a bit of the city in the 4 hours, we covered a lot of ground! I would recommend! And we got some awesome pictures!

Best tour in the city! - We were a family of four and this tour was by far the best we have ever had. Sheldon was very helpful prior to our tour by offering fantastic suggestions and even gave us some great advice on great dining options. Ryan, our guide, was very knowledgeable and he made us feel like we were his personal guests the entire time. This is 5 star rating and we highly recommend it.

Berenice & Alec - The best of the best - Having never been to NYC before I was travelling alone and wanted the benefit of being shown the highlights and getting a feel for the city. My Tour guide Berenice was amazing, what professional! Her passion for the city was palpable and was conveyed in the stories she shared that made the tour feel like I was on it with a friend. Berenice ensured the tour included the places that were important to me and worked with the driver Alec to make the few hours entertaining, informative and memorable. The experience she had was incredible and made me feel like I really understood the city - this set the rest of my trip up to be better because she shared excellent tips and guidance to ensure my holiday made the most of my time in NYC. Alec drove us around in traffic that would make most people want to park up!! He was the consummate professional and him and Berenice were fabulous. I can not recommend them highly enough. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!

Best tour and tour guide - This is one of the best tours I’ve done. Our tour guide, Sheldon, is a New Yorker and knew his city well. He was one of the best tour guides ever. Down to earth and very knowledgeable. We were a group of 11 with kids in car seats and the oldest being 63. Having that private vehicle was such a plus compared to being with a large crowd on a large bus. I very highly recommend this tour with this company.

Great experience on a encompassing private tour of NYC - Four of us were first time visitors to NYC on a one day cruise stop. We knew we’d need some help to see all we wanted on just a day visit. We are so glad we chose a 5 hour private tour with Best New York Tours. We coordinated all we wanted to see directly via phone and email in advance and they promised we’d see it all and more. Boy did they deliver!! They picked us up in a beautiful vehicle, with a private driver who knew the city and a private guide, Ryan, a long time New Yorker who knew so much. We stopped and visited all our “must sees” including Empire State bldg, Grand Central Terminal, St Patricks cathedral, Trinity Church, Wall Street and Statue of Liberty views. A special visit to the 9-11 Memorial capped the tour. Safe and efficient drop and pickup by the driver at every stop and constant enjoyable enlightenment by Ryan. We learned so much and saw so much we didn’t even know about. Easily more than we could do on our own in 3 or 4 days. It was fantastic. I highly recommend Best New York Tours if you want to maximize your time in the city. Great friendly service, excellent communication and they will tailor the tour to your desires and make great recommendations. It was the highlight of our cruise.

Fantastic City Tour - My sisters and I came to New York to see a Broadway play and then decided to stay a couple of extra days to see some city sights. We decided to make the most of our limited time by booking a private guided tour of the city with Best New York Tours. Given the constraints of our time schedule, booking this tour was the most convenient and expedient way to tour the city. I worked with Sheldon via email before the tour to give him an idea of what we wanted to see and what our other plans included while we were in the city. He put together a path and then guided us throughout the city with expert narrative, letting us out at key stops for photo opportunities or bathroom/food breaks. His driver Gregory guided the SUV deftly around the mini-traffic jams that would pop up unexpectedly and the tour kept moving. From the comfort of my leather seat, I noticed several large tour buses stuck in these traffic jams and was really glad that we booked this tour. So much filled the 5 hours we were out and about and sitting on a crowded bus would have been wasted time. This private tour is a great value and will provide both entertainment and education. It's a great way to become more familiar with New York City!
