Best views of Manhattan and Upper Bay - Second time visiting and forgot how good it was! We pre-booked an open ticket so could arrive anytime between 12-4pm and it included priority access so we avoided all the queues (I would advise getting the open ticket as if it was a foggy/cloudy day it would ruin your visit). The elevator whisks you up in no time at all and the whole lift is a video of Manhattan being built which is amazing. Once at the top, the short video you watch is good and the wall lifts up to reveal your first glimpse of the skyline from 102 stories up which is awesome. The 360° views of NYC are spectacular and on the lovely sunny day we visited, we could see for miles! The shop sold some lovely items at surprisingly fair prices and there were very clean toilets available, as well as a water fountain.

Great experience - Bought a skip the line ticket through get your guide. Entry was simple and there wasn't really any queue for regular tickets either. This was around 11am on a weekday. Straight through to the lift which was done brilliantly with the journey to the top showing you the development of Manhattan over the years. Really well done. Then a reveal at the top before going in. Views are spectacular all around and this is really well done and quite moving given the history. I would really recommend this.

Value for money experience - Amazing experience walking into 104th floor of the building. All Inclusive ticket facilitated the walk in experience. Had all the time in the World to spend at the top. Enjoyed a 360 degree view of New York City from the top with luxury of chilled beer courtesy the ticket. Had all the time I could spend at the top without much crowd. The presentation on New York City was very informative. Value for money experience.

The greatest vantage point in NYC!! - ...Yes; the views are amazing & yes I did take a heap of shots, all of which are tremendous. We went later in the afternoon on 9/9 so there were not too much of a line to avoid; all went very smoothly. I will comment on security; it was tight (as it should be considering the Monument here); however the youngest member of the pre screening team needed some further training on discretion. For a few seconds he was well and truly out of control; his manager sorted him out quickly enough. The entire time in the building was great!

A must Experience! - We really enjoyed all aspects of this attraction. Our skip the line tickets was nice and did give us $15 coupon for food or gift shop but the crowds were not bad and everyone seem to move along at a great pace. The elevator experience was really neat with the video on the inside walls to add to the ride up and again down. Once at the top we were given an IPad to use that helped identify the views in all directions of what we were seeing. The cafe food of drinks, desserts, etc were great to enjoy. The views were amazing and I really like being inside to enjoy without the heat of summer or being wind blown. At 2 pm there was a city pulse talk that was very informative. I loved the gal who gave the talk that was fun and spoke so well of the history and tips to see the city. We also was honored to spend time walking around the 911 Memorial. The volunteers and others around the Trade tower to help or assist were so nice and helpful. What a great experience!

The tallest building in town. - We entered immediately, there was no line. At the time of purchasing tickets there were only two options: enter at that time paying $70 per person, which included a $15 coupon that you could use to buy merchandise or drinks and food. It also included a tablet for virtual guidance. The experience was fascinating, it is the tallest building in the Americas and the elevator takes you to the 102nd floor in less than 50 seconds. As the elevator tour takes you through the development of NYC. The experience offers a 360 degree viewpoint, the viewpoint is interior. With the use of the tablet for the virtual guide you can know some of the most emblematic places in Manhattan and its surroundings in its 4 cardinal points. Up there you will find a place selling souvenirs, drinks, snacks and a Restaurant that you can pay for using the coupons that came with the package. I recommend the experience!

Views are amazing but a pricey option - Pros: Views are amazing. Cons: This is a pricey touristy thing to do. Tips: Buy the all inclusive ticket as you get flexibility of entrance and $15 per person for their cafe or shop. Also, they give you a tablet that can be oriented to show the major buildings.

Expensive for what you get. - Full disclosure I accidentally booked this observatory. I thought I was booking Vanderbilt One and somehow booked this, so the experience was way different. That being said, this is way overpriced and not worth your time and money. It’s a ride to almost the top of the building in a fast elevator with pictures projected on the screen/wall. Then you unload into a waiting area where the wall lifts and you get a sneak peek at the views. Now you are let out into the snack and restaurant area then down one floor to the actual observation deck. So here is where my real disappointment began this venue has no outdoor areas, every view is through a window and windows means reflection, so sad. Our tickets included the iPad tour/map if you do go here do not bother with this, the app is glitchy and the iPad heavy and cumbersome.
