Dinner a 1000ft up ! - Visited here after visiting 9/11. It was a beautiful clear night and the views were amazing, useful to have the tablet device which helped identify landmarks with associated information. As time was getting on we opted to try restaurant, we had not booked, but the lovely lady on reception couldn’t offer a window seat as they were all booked ( didn’t know you could) we had a lovely quite booth which you could still the amazing views down Manhattan Island back towards the midtown area. Fantastic end to a memorable day. Food was good, but as with everywhere in NYC it’s expensive. Well worth a visit.

On top of the world - Took the tour of the one world observatory, start taking film of the elevator journey to the top, and film the scenes at the top, then the real view is revealed, awesome experience, we had lunch with the est views over Manhattan, and got a discount due to the tickets, I really do recommend going

One world observatory - Excellent observatory. Not the best of NYC, but the experience is sensational. It's very worth it. Combine it with the visit to the September 11 memorial.

Amazing - I booked this trip with Viator back in the UK. I opted for skip the line tickets with iPad tour once up at the Observatory. I wasn’t disappointed the process to get through security was swift and then we were shown to the elevator up to the top. WOW - the views of Manhattan and beyond were amazing. The iPad was excellent at advising you of what you were looking at. This was a fabulous experience and worth the money in my eyes.

Best views of Manhattan and Upper Bay - Second time visiting and forgot how good it was! We pre-booked an open ticket so could arrive anytime between 12-4pm and it included priority access so we avoided all the queues (I would advise getting the open ticket as if it was a foggy/cloudy day it would ruin your visit). The elevator whisks you up in no time at all and the whole lift is a video of Manhattan being built which is amazing. Once at the top, the short video you watch is good and the wall lifts up to reveal your first glimpse of the skyline from 102 stories up which is awesome. The 360° views of NYC are spectacular and on the lovely sunny day we visited, we could see for miles! The shop sold some lovely items at surprisingly fair prices and there were very clean toilets available, as well as a water fountain.

Do NOT purchase the Priority ticket, you’ll waste your money! - Proceed with caution when purchasing the Priority Ticket for an increased cost on days where the visitor volumes are low. I spent $75.00 for a Priority pass, only to find out that they were “ignoring” the 33-minute wait time that was posted as the next entry time for the standard tickets. It was so slow, there was no point in the expedited security check line or exit lines when you get ready to leave. It’s a shame that One World Observatory would offer such a ticket offering when there wasn’t a need. It’s misleading and deceptive all in a way to earn extra income.

Disgusting rap music ruined the experience - If going on a weekday, don't spend extra for the priority access. The iPad they provided showed some of the highlighted buildings. For better photo ops, go to an outside observation deck such as the Empire State Building. Hideous and disgusting rap music that played on an incessant, irritating loop, which played the entire time and on all the floors, ruined the entire experience.
