The boat is docked behind the building at Pier 36 and can be accessed by walking round either side of the building. Proceed to slip 4, the dock for the “Majestic Princess” or “Emerald Princess”, where you will check-in.

Birthday Girl was Happy - The experience was great. My daughter loved watching the statue get closer and closer. The birds flying with the wind next to the boat was awesome to see. The view you get from the water of the city was nice. Would definitely recommend this excursion for the price can't be beat.

The ride was ok. I didn’t... - The ride was ok. I didn’t know when I booked this activity that there was no outside seating only standing. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the sights as we passed.

Decent tour for the price - The tour itself was good. Our guide did a great job of highlighting interesting sights and sharing interesting facts. There were a few things that were a little strange, though.
I booked what they called a 90 minute sightseeing night/sunset tour with music and bar, which cost a little more than the normal one hour tour. Strangely, this doesn't have a separate listing, it was just an option to click within the 60 minute tour. All of the communication I received said I was getting the 60 minute tour unless I looked around and found a note in the description that said 90 minute night tour.
I got a call two days before my tour in which they told me my boat would actually be leaving at 4:30. I thought that was a little strange since it was supposed to be a night/sunset tour.
I arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time (as directed) to find out that we were the last to arrive, and the boat took off pretty much immediately, well before 4:20. Once we were out, the "music" was a playlist of cheesy New York songs (Sinatra, etc.) played over the PA system. The whole tour took place in broad daylight and ended at 5:30, making it pretty much one hour.
The bar is also very expensive, and we got an order of "nachos" that was pretty funny to see. It was a generous pile of tortilla chips with 3 shot glasses of toppings, three slices of jalapeno, and less than 1 oz each of salsa and queso in shot glasses.
Overall I don't feel that it was a bad value but the communication leaves a bit to be desired and I didn't exactly get what I paid for.

Tourist Trap - I would advise against taking the tour, you’re better off taking the Staten Island ferry for free. First, I was told the tickets were $39 and I was charged $59. Didn’t realize until after I tapped my credit card, my fault I guess. Second, we were told the boat was right there, but we ended up having to get on a 10 minute bus ride to go catch the boat. Pretty much a tourist trap.

The boat was over half an... - The boat was over half an hour late and once on, it had loud music, lights, and a dance floor. Not always a bad thing, just not expected at all. Minor historical speaking and learning about the tour and area- the rest turned into music.

Sight seeing gone wrong with cold drama - The liberty cruise did not show up , left us out in the cold of NewYork with no sympathy. It had no plans to send a replacement cruise. We ended up working out something with the rep on ground to go on a cruise with a total different line 1hr later. This was our Valentine’s trip and it was ruined. Messed up the whole day. Treated like Leftovers waiting for hand me downs.

We waited over an hour... - We waited over an hour for the ferry and it never showed up. There were about 40 other people also waiting and no one had any info or updates, it just never came and everyone gave up.
