It was so awesome. It’s just unexplainable. - Washington is a historical place and just the fact of being there and some of the sites and hearing the tour guide explain different things was just an amazing trip…. It was a dream for me to go to Washington and this was a dream come….. I was actually visiting New York for my 50th birthday, but because Viator offered the trip to Washington, I had to take them up on That offer and myself and my wife had the trip of a lifetime. Thank you so so so so much.

Long Day but worth it!! - Going to Arlington Cemetery was more than we expected. It would have been nice if we had been able to go see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Seeing the JFK memorial was very special.

Lovely trip - Loved the trip, guide was very informative, only issue I would say we had was accessing the internet on the bus, terrible signal.

Could have been more efficient if the other groups were in other groups, - I thought it will be more efficient if all the English group were all together instead of mixing the other groups with interpreters. We had to wait for the translation before we move forward . Also, sometimes, we couldn’t understand as they were talking at the same time . Whsts the difference of the $135 and the $179 other than the entrance fee to the Arlington cemetery?

Too rushed - I loved seeing the famous sights of DC but it was very rushed and we were struggling to keep up with tour guide. We never got time to even stop for a photo, If you stopped you were behind. I didn’t like that all languages were mixed on the bus, this took up a lot of time especially when seeing the sights as guide doing different languages.

Too fast to enjoy the attractions - The day out was a long one, and sering the iconic buildings of Washington DC was great, but the let down for us was the pace at which the guide expected us to go at. At one point, we decided to forego one attraction, and spend more time on the monument that mattered to us. I understand that there is a schedule, but too many places crammed into a short period of time, we've now come to realise these guided tours are not for us. We prefer to take our time, see the places properly, and be able to enjoy the experience.

Disappointed with guide - All the sites were worthwhile to see. However I do not recommend going on a bus where the commentary is in multiple languages. The front half of the bus was dedicated to Italian and Portuguese tourists with a guide speaking in their languages. The back half of the bus was occupied by English speaking folks with a separate guide. The guide at the front had a microphone, the one at the back did not and spoke very quietly. Often when he was speaking the front guide would also speak and overwhelm the voice of our guide. Had I known that this was not a English only tour, I would not have taken it. I recommend others check to make sure their tour would be English only in advance of booking.

Washington DC day trip - Well if you want a whistle stop trip of Washington this certainly tops the list. 5 hours there and 5 hours back with 4 hours looking at the sights wasn’t really my thing. The White House is just not what you think also. Tour guide was ok but didn’t keep much of a close eye on his guests. We ended up having to find our own way to the top of the Arlington Cemetery. My opinion go to Washington for about 4 nights.
