Highlight of our trip - William was our guide for this incredible tour of Harlem. We loved seeing the sights, learning the history of the area, and getting the local scoop on how to order a sandwich at the local deli and where to go for lunch. 10/5 stars

One Of The Best Tours in NYC - Excellent tour given by Professor William Gibbons, a CCNY professor. I’m a native New Yorker who accompanied out of town friends and even though I lived in the area many years ago while attending medical school I learned and saw so many new things. William was smart, capable and totally perfect as a guide.

Enthousiaste guide with a lot of knowledge of the area - Very sympathiek and knowledgeable guide. He showed us the area with many interesting stories. He did his best to show the interior of churches and other buildings resulting in a tour that lasted much longer then was planned.

Super walking trip in Harlem and the heights - We went for this trip at 29th March 2024, and got a super good trip out of it. We were the only 2 people on the trip, so we got our excellent guide for a private tour. He was very knowledgeable and told a lot of stories about the history of the area. We ended up Alexander Hamiltons house where we got a quick tour. This was one of the best trips we had in NYC.

Doris - the delight of Harlem - We had a fabulous morning tour of Harlem by the lovely Doris Lee - who was as entertaining as she was informative. Being taken round by someone local, who clearly cares about the area gave us a real feel for the Harlem of old and today. If we could have adopted Doris, we would have. She was very generous with her time even after the tour was over. She took us by bus to the Apollo theatre which was steeped in musical history -and left us at Sylvia's where we had some amazing soul food. Highly recommend this tour

Harlem walking tour - I went to this tour as it was offered within the new york pass. I really enjoyed the tour, there were only 3 people plus the guide, who very nice and calm and informative. He showed us many nice streets, the uni, hamilton house. He also showed us his favourite club, cafes etc. The pace was really slow which I actually enjoyed and took plenty photos. The neighbourhood is lovely.
