Great service - Great service. Easy to deal with, and great communication from the business. Very friendly staff. And they give very good information about the track and make it easy to change plans if plans need to change.

Perfect way to get to the start of the Tongariro Crossing. - We could park the car easily on the side of the road as mentioned and our pick-up was right on time. We got a map and instructions from the driver. When you finish in your own time ( so you don't have to hurry!) you don't have to wait for a pick-up and can just drive off.

BEST SERVICE - The service was perfect. Great driver who was funny and really informative. The map that you get is perfect to have a good information about the track. I would definitely book here again!

A day out - Absolutely loved it once I could breath again from the steps, they were hard going but would certainly recommend but need a reasonable level of fitness. Afterwards I felt a sense of achievement.

arrived at the mountain without any problems. - At first, I wasn’t sure where to go, but I followed the directions I had been given and found an attendant who clearly explained which bus to take. Thanks to their help, I arrived at the mountain without any problems.

Volcanos up close - An amazing experience. Highly recommend for any hiker. Some expere4ince and moderate fitness level required. My son and I booked for this expereince but the morning of, I had to pull out, due to an injury. The company were very understanding and offered me a refund for the shuttle transfer. My Son did the 20klm hike, along with many other travellers. The weather was perfect and ended up walking 3klms at the other end to meet him. Best to listen to your body, as there is a point of no retunr once you commence. Highly recommend. Spectacular scenery.

Pleasant and smooth experience - Arrived at Ketetahi car park 3 minutes before the shuttle departs to Mangatepopo. Just tell your name to the driver and he will tick your name and you can enter the bus. Price-wise, its the cheapest i could find. I bought the ticket the night before my hike. Easily recommended.

Family crossing with 1 car - Dropped family off at start 7:50 am then drove to carpark. Just made 8:30 shuttle. Had to walk fast to catch up. Great walk. Lots of people on track in Jan. Worth it. Shuttle is a walk down road at end so leave family and go pickup.

Please do yourself a favor a book a different tour operator... - Overpriced ~60 NZD for a one-way transfer (20 min ride) from the destination to the start for the Tongariro Crossing trail; The bus is quite uncomfortable and the driver was very slow in the sealed road, but very fast in the gravel road (it supposed to be 40 km/hr but the driver was speeding, which made me feeling unsafe). The information provided via email is also misleading: if you book the 8:00 AM trip, the email instructions tells that you need to check-in 30 minutes prior, however, the shuttle/driver doesn't arrive until the exact time of departure. I will recommended not using this service and planning to do a work around with other hikers. Edit response below after response from the tour operator: Thank you for your response. While I appreciate the opportunity to address my concerns, your reply lacks professionalism and doesn’t address the core issues raised. First, I request a detailed breakdown of the shuttle cost versus the actual fees paid to DOC for maintenance. The cost of the shuttle appears to be exorbitant compared to industry standards, and I would like clarity on why this is the case. Regarding the speed, if the shuttle was truly monitored, I would appreciate documented proof of the recorded speed during my journey. My experience felt unsafe, particularly on the gravel roads. Your dismissive tone and attempt to undermine my review, along with a failure to address valid concerns, reflect poorly on your company. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is concerning, especially when dealing with safety-related issues. I will be sharing this exchange with my network on my social media and with all people I meet in NZ, as transparency and honesty are important when choosing tour operators. I trust you will reconsider your approach to customer feedback in the future. Btw asking people to provide feedback on Google or TripAdvisor only if is positive seems VERY PROFESSIONAL...
