Hire a row boat and explore the beautiful Southern tip of Lake Winderemere. We provide everything you need and our hires include on water safety cover. Fell Foot National park is a place not to miss. Bring a picnic and make a day of it or enjoy food and refreshments from the on-site cafe.
Parking at Fell Foot:
Parking is free for National Trust members. There is a parking charge for non-members (£6 for up to 2 hours, £7.50 for up to 4 hours, £9 all day). Booking is not required. Please pay on arrival.
Arriving by ferry:
In peak season Fell Foot can become can be very busy and parking is limited. If the car park at Fell Foot is full then customers will need to park across the water at Lakeside and take the foot ferry to Fell Foot (this runs from late May to September). The foot ferry is free, you just need to show your booking confirmation to the ferry crew.
