Fantastic private tour! - Fantastic private tour! Thomas made the tour a great experience for our family, he's a true delight! We were able to customize the tour to include Santa Monica which was great for the kids. Thomas is very knowledgeable and took us to more places than we were expecting. Highlight of our family trip to Huntington Beach - Tom picked us up at our hotel in a spacious , comfortable and clean touring van. Since it was a private tour he customized it to what we wanted. This was a very comfortable, safe and relaxing way to spend 1/2 a day seeing all of the sights that we wanted to see, with a professional guide and no worries about driving/parking/ getting lost etc. Tom is a local and is a wealth of knowledge about this area. He pointed out many areas of cultural and historic significance as we were driving. He dropped us off at a few locations based on our preferences and suggested specific things to see, do and eat based on his lifetime of experience and his recommendations were on point. The cost of a private tour was very reasonable for the experience. I highly recommend this private tour with Tom. This was the highlight of our trip to Huntington Beach.

Best Tour Guide We've Ever Had! - First of all, Thomas is not only a wealth of knowledge and a very kind person, he's an extremely skilled driver! He had a dubious task of turning around in an unbelievably tight area at our hotel where he picked us up (ON TIME!) and he managed it beautifully. We were definitely impressed! We'd never been to LA before and were shocked at how many dangerous drivers, pulling into lanes last minute, opening doors into oncoming traffic, turning from wrong lanes, and Thomas masterfully maneuvered us safely around the entire day. Definitely the person you want at the drivers seat in this town! Ok, onto the tour. Thomas is not your usual tour guide, he actually cares about what YOU want to see rather than what is on his standard list. He will ask you what your interests are and tailor his route (within reason) to your wish list. And if you have no clue (like us), he has a route for that as well. We got to see everything we wanted and more, all the main events, but also off the beaten path places. We even had an impromptu stop to see an unusual work of art that caught our eye. Thomas has many stories he can impart if you are interested in the history of the places and music and has suggestions on restaurants, hotels, bars, anything you want to see or do. As this was an all-day tour, I was a little worried before we went whether we'd get enough restroom stops or be able to eat when we were hungry, but Thomas is very cognizant of his guests' needs and made as many stops as were necessary. We ate lunch at a great place, where there are many choices of restaurants, and had enough times to do a little shopping afterward. He is also aware that people may want souvenirs, so there is a stop for that as well. One thing I would like to advise future customers is that he has a whole bank of cell phone charging stations in his very comfortable van, so bring your plug-in cord. I didn't think about this ahead of time, but taking pictures with an older cell phone, my battery ran down. I can't recommend this tour company highly enough! Anytime we return to the area, we will definitely book a tour with Thomas. There are so many more places we'd like to see and learn about and there is none better to spend the day with than Thomas!
