• Tollymore Forest Park - This walking tour visits three iconic Game of Thrones® locations deep in Tollymore forest. The first is the location of the opening prologue scene of the very first episode, the wildling pit where the Night’s Watch finds dismembered wildling bodies in the snow. The second location is a campfire where Tyrion and Jon talk on their way north to the Wall. The third location is the bridge where the Starks find a dead direwolf and her pups.

The Tollymore forest has featured in the first season of Game of Thrones® portraying both the Haunted forest beyond the Wall and the Wolfswood near Winterfell.

This guided walk brings you to three important sites over a period of 90 minutes. You’ll join other participants of our Winterfell coach tour that departs at 10am, and walk through different film locations. The total distance covered by foot is 2 miles (3.2km). Some parts of the path are uneven, and there is a steep decline into the forest and a steep climb up from the car park. Those with mobility issues may find this tour challenging.

Look out for a coach with EAMONN ROONEY prominently displayed on the side. A Stark woolen cloak is included in the tour package, free of extra charge. Feel free to bring up any questions to our guide before the tour starts.

Please ensure you have outdoor shoes on and are dressed suitably for the weather conditions in Northern Ireland.
