- The Marble Mountains - The tour begins in the morning with our guide picking you up from your hotel.
First, we will visit Marble Mountain, also known as Ngu Hanh Son, a group of five hills made of limestone and marble. They resemble five fingers lying close to the sea. The site features several caves, caverns, pagodas, numerous stairs, and two spectacular viewing points. It is also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes, which are popular places of worship for the local population. Marble Mountain has become a must-see destination for those who appreciate natural beauty and seek a break from busy urban areas.
At the base of the mountains, there is a traditional marble fine art village that is over 300 years old. You will admire the talented craftsmen, their creativity, and their uniquely beautiful works.
After saying goodbye to Marble Mountains, we will visit a local family for a Vietnamese lunch.
Am Phu Cave - After lunch, we will continue to visit Am Phu Cave (the Hell Cave).
Linh Ung Pagoda - We will learn many interesting philosophies of Buddhism. Am Phu Cave features a harmonious combination of folklore and Buddhism’s valuable philosophy of humanity. The scenes of horror mentioned above aim to educate people about doing good deeds in life and to ‘turn over a new leaf’ to stop a bad habit or make a positive change in their character.
Monkey Mountains - Returning to the bus, we will continue to explore Monkey Mountains, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang from a high vantage point. In Monkey Mountain, you will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the largest pagodas in Da Nang city, and see the highest Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Lady Buddha) statue in Vietnam, standing at 67 meters. We will have plenty of time to take photos and relax in this beautiful area. If we are lucky, we may see many monkeys around the pagoda.
The tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel.
