Shuangqiao Gou Protection Station - Often called “China’s Alps,” Siguniang Mountain is situated at the border of Xiaojin County and Wenchuan County. It features four interconnected peaks within the Hengduan Mountain Range. Local Tibetan folklore tells of these mountains being the embodiment of four pure and beautiful girls, which is why it’s named Siguniang (Four Girls) Mountain. The youngest sister is the tallest at 6,250 meters, while the other three stand at 5,355 meters, 5,454 meters, and 5,664 meters. These peaks, always adorned with white clouds, glaciers, and surrounded by lush forests, are as pristine and elegant as jade, earning them the nickname “The Queens of the Mountains of Shu.” With its breathtaking peaks, valleys, drifting clouds, and flowing waters, it is a designated national scenic area. In recent years, it has become a favored spot for both Chinese and international mountaineers.
