Hanoi - Nghia Lo - Homestay- Easy Walking
Nghia Lo - Guests will be picked up from their hotel at 8 AM by the tour guide and driver. After leaving the vibrant city of Hanoi, they can relax and enjoy the countryside as they travel northwest to Yen Bai Province, with refreshment stops along the way. There will be a short 2.5 km walk among the Thai ethnic minority people. Arrival in Nghia Lo town is in the afternoon for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, guests will transfer to Suoi Giang for an overnight stay in a homestay with the Hmong ethnic people. In the afternoon, a trekking tour will explore the daily life of the ethnic community and the beautiful scenery of villages, rice fields, and mountains. The walk will take guests around the village of Suoi Giang, a green tea plantation village, where they can sample some tea before returning to the homestay at 5 PM. Dinner and overnight stay at the homestay.
Nghia Lo - Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai Easy Trekking
Khau Pha Pass - After breakfast, guests bid farewell to the host family and drive to Tu Le town. Tu Le is a charming town located in a picturesque valley at the foot of Khau Pha Pass, where a short trek to the rice valley for photography and village visits to meet local people is planned before returning to town for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, the journey continues up the famous Khau Pha Pass, which is 1,500m above sea level. This mountain is renowned for its terraced rice paddies, and the view over the valley from the pass is breathtaking, especially during the rice season and harvest time. There will be opportunities to stop for photos. After the pass, the drive continues to La Pan Tan village for another trek. La Pan Tan is home to rice terraces and the Blue Hmong ethnic people. The car will pick up and transfer guests to Mu Cang Chai in the late afternoon to check in at a Thai ethnic homestay. Enjoy a traditional Thai dinner and overnight stay at the homestay.
Mu Cang Chai - Sapa Easy Trekking
Mu Cang Chai - After breakfast, guests will transfer to a trekking point for a half-day trek to enjoy Vietnam’s National Rice Heritage. The trek will start from Kim Noi village to Thai Village, offering a great opportunity to admire and photograph the stunning rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai. Guests will also visit a few villages of the Hmong hill tribes scattered in the area. Arrival at the homestay is for lunch before heading on a trip to Sapa. An additional visit to another high pass, Y Linh Ho, which is 2000m above sea level, is included, followed by a visit to Silver Waterfall. Arrival in Sapa is in the late afternoon, with check-in at a homestay, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village Trekking
Sapa - After breakfast, guests take a short walk through the town of Sapa before following a path through vegetable gardens. They then descend into the valley on a trail through rice paddy terraces, enjoying spectacular scenery along the way. Upon reaching the narrow river running along the bottom of the valley, they will walk along its banks before arriving at Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong minority people for lunch near the river. After lunch, the walk continues deeper into the Muong Hoa Valley, passing through Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong minority people and then to Ta Van village of the Day minority, following a popular trekking route. Return to Sapa in the late afternoon. Accommodation is at a homestay of a Tay minority family, where guests can shower and relax with a drink while the guide and host prepare dinner.
Sapa - Suoi Ho - Ma Tra - Ta Phin Village Trekking - Hanoi
Ta Phin - Departure is at 9 AM for a 16km trek, stopping first at Suoi Ho Village and along the way for photos, then continuing to the village of Ma Tra, and onward to the village of Ta Phin. Here, guests will see Red Dzao minority people and their beautiful handmade handicrafts. Guests can enjoy a relaxing herbal bath unique to the Red Dzao people, who have perfected the art of herbal bathing. Each family has its own secret use of medicinal plants, shaped through many generations. The Red Dao women have passed their secret herbal bath remedies to their daughters for hundreds of years, making it an integral part of Red Dao culture. The Red Dao people cultivate, harvest, process, and develop all the products. Lunch is in the village before returning to Sapa, followed by departure to Hanoi.
