Kibera tour - highly recommended! - Highly recommend this tour. Lucas is a great tour guide and showed us around the area. We felt totally safe. It was great to see how people live and work in these areas. They also open their home to their guests which we were very grateful. It was also amazing to meet the children from the school on at Saturday. The hardwork and time invested in their school is definitely paying off. The children were a joy to be around. If you're in doubt, don't be or you'll be missing out on a great experience.

highly recommend - The tour of the Kibera slums was very interesting and gave us an insight into the daily lives of the people who live there. Lucas made us feel very safe and gave us detailed answers to all of our questions. They even took us on a tour of a school they have built in the community. If you are in Nairobi and have time, highly recommend this tour.

Must do! An amazing tour. - This was an extremely interesting and instructive experience and, although I was a bit concerned before we started off, it was completely safe. Everybody I met on the way was friendly and welcoming. I think this is a unique opportunity to see how local people organize their community and how they live, and to correct some clichés and misconceptions in my mind. I especially liked the local school. I was invited into a classroom with about 20 absolutely adorable children who sang some songs. Finally I want to mention my guide, who is a knowledgeable, well educated and charming man. On the whole this was an amazing tour.

Highly Recommended - Truly a great experience! We learned so much about the way of life in Kibera, from locals Lucas and Peter. The work they are doing to support children at the Hope and Shine Kibera Center is quite amazing!

A day in Kiberaslam and Nairobi - It was a full-day tour, but they gave us a detailed tour of the Kibera slums. We also had some spare time after the Kibera Slam tour, so we negotiated and paid an additional fee to visit Nairobi city. I think it was a nice and friendly Guide.

Unforgettable tour - I think it's a really great tour, as others have written. (Guide Lucas was really kind) We stopped by schools along the way, but it was an unforgettable trip with children chasing us in embarrassment. We hope that more people will visit this tour as it will contribute to the school itself.
