• My Tho - 7:00AM-7:30AM Our local guide will welcome you with a sign (your name) at Phu My port gate (7 to 10 minute walk from the ship) and start your day by going to visit Mekong (My Tho City and Ben Tre Town), the capital city of Tien Giang province, is about 130 km away from Phu My port around 3 hours. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields, stopping to see how the rice is cultivated an take pictures of the rice farms in the Mekong River Delta. On arrival at My Tho, take a leisurely boat trip to Tortoise Island. Then disembark and go for a gentle stroll through the picturesque orchards and fruit garden. Have halal lunch then enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre.
• Ben Tre - Return to the water for a relaxing rowing boat ride along a small canal, cruising in the shade of the water coconut trees.

We will continue for Ben Tre province with Tan Phu Village. You will learn about bee-keeping in the delta and sip are freshing cup of honey tea to the accompaniment of traditional Vietnamese folk music. Then travel the narrow rural countryside road by horse cart to visit the coconut candy mill to find out how this delicious confectionery is made and sample the finished product. Return by boat to My Tho boat station and drive back to Saigon.

The trip ends at your hotel around 4:30pm.

• Discover coconut kingdom of Mekong Delta. We can avoid the tourist crowds with a visit to more authentic places as follows: the rice paddy fields, fruit gardens and some local traditional industries. The boat will cruise along the Tien river (a branch of the Mekong) and stop off at various local work places to give you a picture of how the local economy works, a coconut processing workshop, where you can sample fresh coconut and see how every single part of this versatile nut is turned into food and taste some local products.
• Then we take a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre. We will continue to stop at bee farm with another island to enjoy honey tea, local products, and enjoy the traditional music.
  Return to Phu My port in the afternoon.
