1. Museum Of Oceanography
Visit the Museum Of Oceanography, home to over 20,000 specimens of 4,000 marine creatures and a massive whale skeleton nearly 18m long and 3m high. The Museum Of Oceanography Nha Trang is a premier marine research institute in Southeast Asia, preserving thousands of specimens of various marine species.
2. Hòn Chồng
Hon Chong Promontory features a vast area of uniquely shaped rocks along the shore, surrounded by mountains and highlighted by a tranquil beach with a stunning shade of gentle blue. Hon Chong Promontory consists of two rock clusters: Hon Chong (meaning “Husband” in Vietnamese) and Hon Vo (meaning “Wife” in Vietnamese). The larger Hon Chong cluster is notable for a fascinating giant five-fingered hand impression embedded in a boulder.
3. Nhà thờ Núi
Nha Trang Stone Church spans 720m2 and showcases a gothic architectural style. Its most prominent feature is the wide, skyward-pointing curved arch. The church is constructed from reinforced concrete and split rocks, creating a solid and steady layout with small cubes gradually rising from low to high. The church’s highest point is the bell tower, standing 38m tall from the pavement.
4. Ponagar Temple
The Po Nagar Towers are a complex of temples built around 781 A.D., featuring a distinctive architectural and artistic style that has spread throughout Vietnam. These towers are also a significant religious site for the locals of Nha Trang. The overall architecture of the towers is a masterpiece, with stairs, wall steps, and sculptures reflecting the zenith of the ancient Cham Kingdom.
