Po Nagar Cham Towers - Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and who in Vietnamese is called Thiên Y Thánh Mẫu.
The Po Nagar complex is situated on Cù Lao Mountain. It consists of three levels, the highest of which encompasses two rows of towers. The main tower is about 25 m high.
The temple’s central image is a 1.2m tall stone statue of the goddess Yan Po Nagar sitting cross-legged, dressed only in a skirt, with ten hands holding various symbolic items. According to Vietnamese scholar Ngô Vắn Doanh, these attributes show that Yan Po Nagar was identified also with the Hindu goddess Mahishasuramardini or Durga, the slayer of the buffalo-demon. Great experience! - A great way to see the city.
Our driver was Giang and he did a great job showing us around.
Some of the places might be a bit crowded, but having your own personal car helps out. No stress, we got to use the time we wanted and Giang was always ready to pick us up when we where done sightseeing.

Sister trip - My sister and I booked the VIP Private Nha Trang City Day Tour with Sa. She was a wonderful patient guide who catered all day to my sister and I. We went to see the Po Nagar Cham towers, National Oceanographic Museum, Long Son Pagoda and the Bai Tam Hon Chong and they were all spectacular. Sa took sensational pictures and was quite the haggler at the market. We would most definitely recommend this excursion.

Day visit to Nha Trang - Our guide Khiem was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Nothing was too much trouble and he structured our visit to fit in with what we needed to do within our timeframe!
Visited temples and shrines with a lovely cup of refreshing coffee ( courtesy of Khiem) along with a lovely local lunch! again he explained in detail what we were having and how to eat it!!

The car we were in! Was clean and smelt really clean and nice ! The driver was also very good! Very careful and safe driving on roads that were a bit chaotic to say the least!
All in all an excellent day and highly recommended

Top tour to see all the aightsy - This is a great tour to do if you want to see the highlights of Nha Trang. Air conditioned private car with a guide to collect tickets and show you around. Bo was our driver and he was fantastic and gave us some history notes on the areas visited. We finished our tour with a lovely bowl of pho and a cold beer

The best tour ever - Wow what an amazing day Sa was one of the best guides I’ve ever used efficient , informative , great personality, we never had to que so visited all the sights at quieter tines..

Decent photo centric city tour - Decent tour primarily organised to take photos of the key sites dotted around the nha trang city area . The two gripes we had with the tour is the lack of information for each site we visited and the substandard lunch offered (tiny street food stall down a deserted street ) in relation to the relatively high price of the tour .
