A good day out - A lovely guide who really knew the history of the area. He was easy to engage with and pointed out lots of interesting facts. The drive was smooth and he took good care. The sights were interesting, we particularly liked the Roman archeological site.

Definitely worth the experience - This is a great way to visit another country while in Sofia. Daniel was our driver and guide and he was great. We didn’t know much about Niš but this tour certainly changed that. The Skull Tower and concentration camp were dark but impactful. The city of Niš surprised us to the upside- it’s on a river and has a cool vibe. We dined at the Crazy Horse because it is right on the river and has a nice view; though it is not Serbian food, I would recommend. I do wish we had more time in Niš city center and I also wish the stop made on the way there should not be at the snack hut at the border. The food there in packages were expired. I recommend bringing food/drink with you on the tour and if you stop at the snack hut at the border, check expiration labels!

This Tour of Serbia is Not to be Missed ! - Laura, the driver and the guide, has a deep knowledge of the history of the Balkan Peninsula and the sites we visited. She enthusiastically delivered the information and was eager to fully answer any questions. I particularly appreciated that Laura spoke of: the network of Roman roads and the cities by past and present names that the network passed through, the sequence of “occupiers” in the region and introduced me to Alphonse de Lamartine. Laura is a passionate guide who delights in sharing relevant information over and above the basic. Kudos!

Niš side trip - I enjoyed my day trip to Serbia and Niš. The guide, Rosen, was great. The highlight was Constantine’s summer palace, Mediana.

Excellent, but be sure to eat a large breakfast! - This was a jam-packed day trip, which was SO appreciated. Some day trips seem to only include time in the specified city, but this one had three unique stops, time for lunch in Niš, and excellent commentary by the guide. The one drawback was that all of the stops took place before lunch and we weren’t able to eat until around 2:30pm. Once we made it to Niš, our guide lacked urgency when it came to taking us to an appropriate lunch spot, which made my very hungry friend and me frustrated. That said, as long as you book the trip with the knowledge that you’ll be having a late lunch and plan accordingly, you should thoroughly enjoy yourself.

Fabulous Introduction to a New Country! - Really enjoyed our trip to Serbia with this company. Laura our guide was fabulous - friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help. We also really appreciated the hotel pick up and drop off option, which made the whole process so much easier. The trip to Constance the Great’s Villa and the Skull Tower were fascinating. We would’ve perhaps liked a little more time in Nis itself to soak up the atmosphere in a Serbian city, but otherwise the trip was thoroughly enjoyable and I’d definitely recommend it to get a glimpse of Serbia.
