• Niagara Parks Power Station - The first significant power plant on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Parks Power Station was completed in 1905 to generate hydroelectricity using the Niagara River’s power. Entering this impressive structure feels like stepping back in time. With original machinery still intact, you’ll have the chance to participate in hands-on training exercises. Explore the thrust deck, brake deck, and turbo deck while learning about their functions and the future of hydroelectricity. At this point, your guide will bid farewell and provide audio guides for you to explore the Power Station and Tailrace Tunnel at your leisure.
