Favorite parts - The funnest part was the journey behind the falls where you got to see the Canadian horseshoe falls up close and feel the power of the falls up close as well as the sound behind the falls. The next part was the Skylon Tower observation deck which was very windy but you can see insanely far and the ride up was fun too. I loved trying Canadian chocolate too as well as the maple syrup.

Very disappointing. Do your research and grab a cab to both significant locations and pay yourself. You will save $$$ - Seriously the biggest con I have ever had in my travels. So disappointing!! Group of 2 couples from Australia. Paid $209 CA per person morning of tour. $230AU. Picked up by driver Asif (possibly owner of the company) Got 5 minute spiel on kindness and helping others etc which I really loved but started to twitch after 4 minutes. Away we went. Got salesman pitch about going to Skylon Tower for early dinner and needed to let him know asap so he could book. More twitching from me and I said give us half hour to discuss. Taken on walk to see falls near entry to tunnels. Into tunnels. Told us he would meet us at exit at 2.30pm. He was not there. We messaged him and waited a further 20 minutes for him to come back. He deterred me from purchasing at tunnel shops as he said they were too expensive and he wanted to save me a $ if he could. Away we went to some ‘rapids’ which were very underwhelming. Then more pressure re booking the Skylon of which we decided to do as it was on our list of things to do. Took us to a souvenir/ maple syrup/ chocolate shop where I noted the prices were considerably high. Then pressure to tell him what our menu choice was for Skylon as he got us early deal of $60 per head and he needed to know what we wanted. More twitching from me. On arrival. Saw deal advertised outside wall of Skylon was in fact $55. Asked staff and they confirmed deal was $55 for early diners. He came back to get out money for restaurant food deal as he was paid direct (not the restaurant) I questioned the $55 and paying restaurant direct. He said no we had to pay him as he got us a deal. He blatantly lied to us. So basically. We paid $203 Canadian per person for entry to tunnels which is $29. By booking us at Skylon, he didn’t have to pay our entry fee to tower (you don’t pay if you are a diner) and he ripped each of us off for a further $5. All up $300 per person. Lot of money to see a tunnel and not much more. We could have walked to tunnels and maybe grabbed a couple of cab rides for far less. Tunnels were great. Skylon we could have done for $5 less per head. Rest was very ordinary.
