Highlights
  • Niagara SkyWheel - Head to the entertainment promenade of Clifton Hill, where you’ll find the Niagara SkyWheel rising 175 feet (53 meters) high, making it Canada’s largest observation wheel.

Step inside an enclosed gondola for a ride that lasts two revolutions, or about 10 minutes. You won’t have to worry about getting too hot or cold in the climate-controlled cabin, just sit back and take in a 360-degree view of landmarks such as Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, the Niagara River and Niagara Parks. A recording tells you what’s below, helping you get your bearings as you look out at both the American and Canadian sides of the falls.

For another perspective, ride the Niagara SkyWheel at night as the Clifton Hill promenade sparkles with lights.

Aged Adventurers - We loved the view from the top! The outside did fog up so it was hard to see out part of the cab, but still could see a lot.

Great views. Did get warm... - Great views. Did get warm inside during the heat wave when we were there during the day time. The cabins/cars do have AC but it didn't seem to be blowing much air out of vents. Loved it every time we went on it (3)

SkyWheel fun, don’t book through Viator. - SkyWheel was fun but I would not recommend booking through Viator. We reached out to see if we could switch the date and were told “no problem.” However, after we got to the SkyWheel they would not honor the switch. So we had to pay again for tickets and lost the payment to Viator.

Not bad. But glass could be polished more often for that kind of money. - One drawback is the dim glass. The administration is clearly skimping on that. Impressions of this are spoiled, especially by milking those who are passionate about photography.
