Highlights
  • Cornerstone Estate Winery - All of the family, none of the drama! Established in 2002, this family-owned and operated winery produces premium VQA certified wines from locally grown grapes. Nestled in the heart of the stunning Niagara Peninsula in Beamsville, Ontario, Cornerstone Estate’s serene and peaceful surroundings offer the ideal natural conditions to craft some of the region’s finest wines.

Their family-owned brand caters to modern wine enthusiasts. They are dedicated to creating the highest quality wine from their own orchards. Each bottle is crafted with handpicked and meticulously sorted grapes.

At Cornerstone Winery, quality and their staff come together to provide an unparalleled experience. Each guest will enjoy 3-4 samples, followed by ample time to relax and take in the scenery. Guests are welcome to order a glass of wine while relaxing with friends and family.

There is plenty of time to shop in their spacious Wine Boutique Store.

  • Vieni Estates - Nestled along the ridge of the Niagara Escarpment, Vieni Estates Winery & Distillery awaits. Recently renovated, this expansive winery now features multiple sampling rooms, along with a beautiful wine boutique store and cafe.

Your visit will include numerous free wine tastings, along with a brief tutorial of their winery. The surprise comes after your wine samples.

This winery also produces the region’s best Grappa & Brandy. Samples are not complimentary, but they are reasonably priced. Feel free to ask their staff for a sample or two. You won’t regret it!

  • Caroline Cellars Family Estate Winery - BACK-UP OPTION

Caroline Cellars winery, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, is a perfect example of a family-owned and operated estate winery. The vineyard has been in the family for over four generations, but it’s the current generation of three daughters that have expanded the family farm to its current state.

The onsite winery is a rustic yet charming representation of the family’s farming background combined with the quaintness of a boutique winery. Upon arrival, each guest will enjoy FOUR complimentary tastings of their choice. Caroline Cellars is the only winery in Niagara that allows each customer to choose their four specific samples from their extensive list of over 20 varietals of wine.

In addition to regular wine, be sure to ask about their seasonal Late Harvest Wines, Icewine, and fruit wines, all available for sampling.

*NOTE: Group lunch stop is sometimes at their onsite Farmhouse Cafe - cost is extra.

  • Forty Creek Distillery - As a special treat, most of our groups will visit one of Canada’s most popular distilleries - Forty Creek. Enter their main tasting bar where you will be welcomed by their friendly staff, who will help you navigate their large assortment of whiskies, gins, cream liquors, and more.

After sipping a few samples, move on over to their massive boutique store where you can shop among their great collection of bottles and merchandise. Their factory store is a great option for purchasing that collector’s bottle or high-end bottle.

  • Puddicombe Estate Farms & Winery - Your tour will visit one of Niagara’s oldest working fruit farms. This rustic yet charming family-owned and operated fruit farm offers an amazing selection of fun activities, wine & cider to drink, and delicious food to enjoy.

Upon arrival, your group will visit their onsite winery & tasting bar. Each guest will enjoy multiple wine & hard cider samples from their friendly staff. After sampling, feel free to grab a few cans of cider and a few bottles of wine to enjoy on the property.

Most group visits to Puddicombe Farms will also include a planned lunch stop here. Choose from a wide variety of delicious options from their onsite cafe & bakery. Seasonal Wood Oven Pizza is also available. The cost of lunch is extra.

After lunch (time permitting), take a stroll through their property and visit a working farm up-close. Spot a few exotic farm animals or take a train ride on an actual working train. This experience takes you on a tour of their property, with plenty of time to shop.

Have fun!

Nice wine tour - Second time doing this tour. Price is cheaper than any other wine tour which is why we chose this tour. They now have a pick up point near niagara on the lake also near to at Catherine’s where we stayed. We loved loved loved our last stop Cornerstone Winery. The wine is really nice and also loved the host (daughter of the winery owner)and hearing the history of the vineyard, she was very entertaining, knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen too. The longest stop for lunch at a farm Puddicombe farms I was not impressed with, I think I am not the only one that had that impression since not one person bought ANYTHING other than lunch. The stop was too long, and food not great either. Some other venue would much improve the tour if this one was completely omitted from itinerary. The driver was fun and entertaining and the 2 other stops Vieni winery and the whiskey distillery forty creek were also great. Vieni I had done last year and loved it and their wine is really good and lots of choice! Both Vieni and Cornerstone were my absolute favourite stops on the tour.

Yellow school bus not cool - Our driver was amazing. She provided great info and had a wrench thrown in her day but handled it calmly and professionally. I would have given 5 stars but using a school bus for the tour ruined the experience....plus the place we went for lunch had terrible service and the samplers were not that great. We waited over an hour for a small cheese pizza. Cornerstone was the BEST in terms of presentation and experience 👌. Vieni winery was Amazing for samples and the Whiskey stop was a great finish....overall a great experience.

Wine Tour - Our driver named Tina was fantastic! But a school bus? She made the best of a not so good situation. We felt rushed at two wineries. The first winery was corner stone estate winery. The owner was friendly and welcoming. 5 ⭐️ for her! The other two were less exemplary. Distillery was not real welcoming. Our group was too large- overbooked perhaps? We even left some people behind at second pick up because bus was at capacity. The experience was mediocre at best.
