Additional Information

Embark on an exhilarating adventure down the Niagara River in an open-top jet boat for an unforgettable Niagara experience. This is the most exciting - and certainly the most damp - way to admire the breathtaking landscape and awe-inspiring white waters of Niagara River.

We invite you to what we usually refer to as our white water playground, where the Class V Devil’s Hole Rapids won’t hesitate to drench you. After this electrifying event, you will journey upstream to the final destination of the trip, the renowned Niagara Whirlpool.

The Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are divided by a series of Class VI rapids, too dangerous and unlawful to navigate through. This excursion begins from the Canadian side and ends at the same location.

  • Arrive promptly 45 minutes prior to departure time to register, sign participation agreement and hear pre-trip safety orientation. If you miss the safety orientation, we will move you to the next available trip time without notice (which could be the next day) so it is important to arrive on time.
  • The participation agreement thoroughly explains to anyone interested in the trip, all pertinent aspects of jet-boating including personal health requirements. Refusal to sign the agreement will not merit a credit or refund.
  • Wheelchair accessibility - if assistance is required, passenger must provide their own carer. Guests must be able to sit on a bench seat and support themselves by holding on to a bar in-front of each seat without assistance.
  • Participants must meet the minimum height requirement of 44-inches tall (1.1-meter tall) - your average 6 year old.
  • Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult (age 18+) on the tour.
  • Late or no-show participants will not receive a refund. You have 24 hours prior to your trip to cancel for a full refund. Trips can be rescheduled until day of the departure at no added charge (subject to availability).
  • Guests must arrive on site via their own form of transportation - Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours is not responsible for getting you to the dock.
  • Please note that we do not see Niagara Falls from our tour

Amazing experience - Amazing experience. Our leader was Vinnie and captain charlie. They definitely delivered the best experience. I had to call to check if there was an earlier time slot available and was able to get in so if your desired time is not available just give them a call. We were seated in the front row and when they you will get wet, they mean that. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure. We didn't have a car so we took an uber. The dock is located in a neighborhood so might be a little hard to take public transportation.

Must-see/do adventure!! - Trip leader Shaza & Captains Alex & Danielle offered a memorable, FUN excursion on the Niagara River. Chatting with Captain Greg at the River Shop, we learned a lot prior to our trip. All staff were super friendly and readily available to us. For the landlubber in our group, staff offered tips where to stand for the best photo ops of the travelers. We definitely recommend this trip!! Definitely bucket-list worthy!! Unless you absolutely must take the dry excursion, go for the WET ride!! It's such a huge part of the experience!! *Grateful to have WON these tickets through an Attractions Ontario contest during the March Break. 🥇

Must do! - It was nice to see the Niagara river from the river, while holding on for my safety, the rapids are so much bigger when your inside them, I was smilling from ear to ear for the whole ride, great adventure!

Loved every second! - Best Tour Ever! From the first person you meet until the very end the experience was fantastic! Our guide, Jack, was so great. His witty and entertaining style was informative and fun. Believe them when they say that you will get wet and bring a complete change of clothes. There is a change room nearby. The trip itself was so exciting yet we felt safe. I would definitely go again and again!

Great wet FUN! - Great FUN! Was a little disappointed that there was only one set of rapids that we were able to go play in. Just thought there’d be more. Emily was our guide - she showed great enthusiasm but OMG her voice was so high pitched, she talked way too fast. Barely heard anything she was saying. Stick with deep male voices - IMO
