Best way to experience Niagara’s wineries - My husband and I took off to Niagara for a much needed getaway. After spending the day before doing the typical tourist at the falls stuff, this was a wonderful way to see and experience the more peaceful and more quiet parts of Niagara! Our driver Tom was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area as we drove from winery to winery. The wines in the area were amazing, and we have done our fair share of wine tasting around the US. What made the day even more memorable was doing it in the Old English Cab Car. While the poor thing definitely showed its age, that was what gave it perfect character and added to the fun. The town of Niagara on the Lake was beautiful, and the fall colors made it even more beautiful. We especially got a good laugh out of the group of tourist that started taking pictures of the car while we were stoped and still in it, made us wonder if they thought a celebrity or someone special was in it 😊. You can hire different Cars from the CTG Canada group, but the experience in the English Cab Car is 100% the way to do it. We would 100% book this again and will when we come back to Niagara.

L&T Girls Getaway British Cab Wine Tour - It was a wonderful experience. Tom our driver was a pleasure and it was a fun experience in the British Cab. Between the lines, Caroline Winery and Konzelmann were all outstanding experiences. Our least favorite was Reif Winery. Overall a great way to experience some wineries in the area.

Great tour guide and wineries - Great communication before and during the trip. Tom was amazing and took us on a tour around NOTL showing us so many more sights and information than what we would have known. The wineries were all fabulous. One downside was the lunch which was a cold sandwich picnic - my recommendation would be to offer lunch at one of the winery stops as a couple on our stop had various options.

English cab private tour for two - Our driver was kind and knowledgeable. The first winery, Nomad was beautiful. The cab does not have air and is loud and difficult to hear. It’s not been renovated on the inside so a bit lackluster. The picnic lunch is so so along with the place we stopped to eat. Lackluster. The other wineries were too commercialized

$520 (before tip) disappointing wine tour - The tour description reads “ hop aboard your vehicle for the day - a classic London black cab. Head to your first winery where you will receive an introduction to wine making, and will enjoy a tutored tasting. Following a multicourse lunch at a gourmet restaurant or an outside picnic lunch venture to four other wineries to sample numerous other varietals.” We have done numerous wine tasting tours. We chose this because we wanted a more personalized experience. The classic London cab was a beat up old clunker with torn and stained upholstery. Lunch was a cold sack lunch with a cold chicken sandwich, dry pasta salad and soggy pita chips with hummus. We sat at a picnic table at a roadside fruit stand. Luckily there was a bottle of water in each lunch because we were not offered bottled water the rest of the day. We went to four wineries (not five) and one of them was awful - think of going to see your crazy aunt and drinking her homemade plum wine. Yuck! We both thought these would be more upscale wineries. (In contrast, the next day we had a tour at Peller Estates which was fun, informative, interesting and delicious for $45 per person.) Our driver was a driver and not a tour guide by his own admission. He was certainly pleasant and nice but if he had any knowledge of the area, wineries or wine he did not share it with us. He was simply a driver who drove us from one winery to another (and got lost going to one.)
