The last city to join France, Nice boasts a unique identity with its own flag, language (you’ll pick up some typical Nissart expressions), and cuisine.

We’ll journey through centuries and various civilizations, exploring stunning sites along the way.

Our adventure begins in the old town, the heart of Nice, with its narrow streets and the famous flower market bursting with colors and fragrances. We’ll ascend to the site of the ancient castle that once protected the city during the Middle Ages.

Next, we’ll visit the Russian Orthodox Saint Nicolas Cathedral, one of the largest in Europe.

Our final stop will be the Roman site of Cemenelum. Today, it’s a park filled with olive trees, Roman ruins, and a coliseum where local families gather on Sundays to picnic and play pétanque. We’ll enjoy a “traditional picnic” featuring local specialties and an introduction to pétanque.
