Great Hike in the French Alps - Cyril was amazing, he was so funny and knowledgeable as well. We enjoyed the hike and all the information he gave. We stopped into some villages that were perfect for lunch and seeing the local culture. He also taught us the local version of Bocci Ball where one of our group members drew a crowd, it was one of the highlights of the trip, thanks for making it great!

Fantastic tour in the Alps!! - We had a wonderful time learning about the history of Annot and Entraveaux. Cyril is an incredible tour guide and clearly knows the area and many of the local people, which made for a more personalized experience.

An Amazing Day Trip - Our tour guide Matt was fantastic. He was polite, very knowledgeable, kind, helpful, engaging and fun. There were some in our group who were not quite as youthful as others, and thus a bit slower, and he managed to make it work for us all. He pointed out many points and associated history on our train ride up to Entrevaux, and the Annot. The views from the train were awesome. At Entrevaux he took us through the village explaining far more than I can remember, but it was very interesting and set the stage for our climb to the citadel. Wow - it was both fun, and interesting/amazing to think back to that time period when the path and structure were built. After descending he had made arrangements for a wonderful and relaxing lunch in the village. We again boarded the train to get to Annot and then did the mountain climb. It is not a trek for those who may be slow/physically challenged. It was VERY steep, rocky, sometimes muddy, Sometimes slippery, and sometimes with massive cliff drop offs (not a trip for small children either). However- it was the best mountain hike I have been on. The rocks, boulders, views, history, stories, nature were absolutely fantastic. Roughly a 3 hour hike for which you would be wise to have good shoes and bring a bottle or two of water. As the members of our group agreed - pictures and descriptions can’t come close to expressing the amazingly nature of the mountain that Matt showed us, nor the fun and feeling of accomplishment. When we got back to Annot we had just enough time to stop a a local place to have drinks, tell stories and share pictures we took. We took the train ride back mostly in silence (or napping) as it was a long day, many steps and arrived back in Nice at about 9:10. I am SO glad we did this tour, and would strongly recommend it, and will try to arrange for my son to take it.
