Launched in 2024, “Dress Blues” is a pristine 25’ center-console crafted by Dorado and powered by Mercury 300 ProXs. It is the ideal vessel for families with children, novice anglers, and seasoned fishermen alike. Fishing licenses, equipment, and bait are included; guests only need to bring drinks and snacks. EXCLUSIVE: Memory Maker trips are short excursions for quick catches just minutes from the dock. Rob possesses a Masters endorsement on his Merchant Mariner Credential, Title 46 U.S. Code, and has been certified by The United States Coast Guard National Maritime Center.
Captain Rob is passionate about aiding individuals to discover their happiness and deal with sorrow. A single day spent at sea can dispel waves of sadness. Those who’ve been affected by tragedy, battled cancer, or served in combat are given first consideration. Purple Heart holders and Wounded Warriors are invited to fish at no charge (Advance telephonic coordination would be appreciated).
Everyone is invited to enjoy a day ‘at EASE’.
- Children of all ages are welcome. They must wear a Coast Guard Approved live jacket at all times.

Best fishing trip ev-ah - This trip completely exceeded all our expectations! While searching for a fishing charter in Destin, we narrowed the search for trips available the days we were traveling and staying in Fort Walton. L4K Charter popped up as an option. We almost passed on it as it’s docked in Niceville, but don’t pass it up. So worth the drive from Destin/Fort Walton Beach area. Because it was available the day we needed and was highly rated, we booked without much more investigation. Captain Rob reached out the next morning after booking to send information about the charter and also messaged the day before we fished. There are things you hope for on a fishing trip: comfortable boat, safe guide, and hope you get some bites and maybe get something big enough to brag about in the future. Then there are the things you didn’t even think you needed: a patient and compassionate person who doesn’t judge if you can’t cast accurately or far enough who knows exactly where to go to be on the fish and keep the fishing going with lapses. I don’t know how much bait we went through, but I have always booked fishing trips knowing it was more for my husband than myself, but I truly had a wonderful time! After our trip, I went onto L4K’s website (we didn’t realize he had one before our trip). He’s a Marine veteran giving back to veterans who need it in a beautiful way. Captain Robs motto is “No coincidences, making memories.” His interactions with strangers is genuine and we feel honored we got to spend a few hours with him on his beautiful boat.

Fishing with my Boys - Captain Rob knew exactly where to find the fish and give me and my boys a great experience. They have not stopped talking about how much fun they had and are hooked on fishing now. He baited the hooks for them, cast them, and safely removed the fish for them when caught. The boat was extremely clean and well kept up. Safety was a priority for the captain. Great trip!

Unforgettable Experience - This fishing charter is a MUST! My husband and I and our four children ranging from 15yrs to 10months had an unforgettable experience. Captain Rob was not only extremely personable but also very knowledgeable. He ensured each of the kids (minus the baby) caught multiple fish of multiple species. He kept us informed and safe as we explored the world of fishing. This experience was well worth the time and money spent. If we are ever in the area again you can bet on us booking again!

Truly a Memorable Experience!!!! - If you've taken the time to look into reviewing L4K Charters, all I can say is,,, Do Not Hesitate to Book with Capt. Rob, I Booked the Memory Maker Trip, The Name alone says it all, mainly for my 5yr. old Grandson, Capt. Rob did an amazing job making my Grandson and all of us feel very comfortable aboard "Dress Blues" it was like Fishing with a longtime Family Friend., Grandson caught a 22" Red Fish he actually caught more Fish than any of Us Creating a Memorable experience for us that will last us all lifetime.
Again, Capt. Rob we cannot Thank You enough.

If you have kids, the best experience your money can buy. - If you have kids (I have three under 7), this is the best experience you can buy when vacationing in northern FL. Two hours of fishing in the bay with Captain Rob and my kids loved every second. Even have a little girl that wasn’t a big fan of fishing unlike my 5 year old son. She had a blast. Rob is terrific with kids. Very patient and took care of questions and pretty much anything the kids through at him. 5/5 would recommend. His fishing trip will be an annual must for our Florida trips from here on.

wonderful trip - We had a great time fishing with Captain Rob ! His boat is beautiful and his equipment is top notch ! We especially liked the time and effort he put into making sure our 12 year old had a great fishing experience. Highly recommend ! We caught 29 fish during the 3 hours we spent with Captain Rob. We will definitely book another fishing trip with him next time we are in the area !!

Book. This. Charter. - You need to believe the rave reviews here! Best fishing experience we could have asked for and we can't say enough good things about this captain and this trip! Hands-down, the highlight of our time in FL. Rob is an EXTREME professional: he knows his business, and has the rare combination of profound competence and genuine love for people....you can tell he loves what he does! Took us straight to spectacular fish and was very considerate of my landlubber legs and tummy. Great communicator. Five star service and we'll be repeat customers if at all possible!
