Shameful and dishonest experience - We decided to book a private tour with a guide to have more flexibility. The car was all right, but the driver who suppose to be a guide was a total disaster. From the beginning he was supposed to pick us at the hotel in Tokyo, which was pretty big. At the time of the pick up, he sent a message with a picture of the car and said he was parked nearby. I looked it up, but couldn't"t find him nearby. It took him 20 mins to finally pick us up at the regular hotel entrance. He was too young, his English was difficult to understand and his knowledge about the places was extremely limited. We went to Nikko, a very pretty city and all he was able to tell us is the there was a bridge and a Shrine. He never knew where to park and it seems that he had never been to Nikko before. We paid too much and it was a scam. I still give a star because we were relived that he got us back to the hotel.
