Awesome day in Nikko - The tour to Nikko was both fun and interesting. Taiji took us to the most interesting places in Nikko and he shared a great wealth of knowledge about them that put context to the places we were seeing. I highly recommend taking this tour if your ever in Tokyo.

Sugoi experience! - I had an amazing time with my guide during my trip to Nikko. From the start, she was incredibly thoughtful and asked me what I wanted to see and what was important to me, ensuring the experience was tailored perfectly to my interests. She came well-prepared with all the necessary materials, providing rich historical context about Nikko, the shoguns, and the imperial family. She answered every question I had in detail, showing deep knowledge of the area’s history. What stood out even more was her assistance in translating the wishes from the temples, which added a very personal touch to the experience. Her friendly and professional approach made the entire visit both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this guide for anyone looking for a personalized, informative, and engaging tour of Nikko! This captures your experience, emphasizes the guide’s professionalism, and showcases her adaptability and knowledge. Let me know if you’d like to tweak any part of it!

Nikko is a must visit, especially during the Summer. - Our guide Yoshimi was absolutely wonderful. She has such an amazing personality, was very welcoming, and very knowledgeable. Yoshimi also gave us amazing recommendations for the rest of our stay in Japan. As for Nikko, it is a must see if you are visiting tokyo and have the time to visit. We went during a national holiday, so there was a lot of traffic, but it was still worth visiting despite that. If you are visiting Tokyo during the summer, then Nikko is even more worth visiting as it is much cooler in the mountains. Overall it was an amazing day to remember, and again thank you to Yoshimi for being an amazing guide.

Fun times, even in the rain! - Our family of five had a wonderful day on this tour with Yuko and our driver, Toshi. Yuko was knowledgeable about the locations we visited and provided interesting historical context. Yuko and Toshi also made some itinerary adjustments during the day due to some inclement weather and added in a fascinating stop at an historic samurai house, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I also have to mention that Yuko took lots of pictures for us, she impressed our kids with her origami skills on the ride to Nikko, and Toshi gifted us with delicious Japanese snacks—the extra hospitality made the day really special.
