Aswan Tour, check in and sailing to Kom Ombo temple
Aswan - A licensed tour guide from Egypt Gift Tours will greet you at Aswan Airport, Railway station, or your hotel on the Aswan East bank to begin your tour directly to the Philae temple and High Dam.
Aswan High Dam - Begin your tour with a visit to the High Dam, completed in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and to generate electricity.
Temple of Philae - Continue to the Philae Temple, a Graeco-Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, accessible by a small motorboat. Then, transfer to the cruise for check-in and lunch. Around 2 to 3 pm, start sailing towards Kom Ombo.
Temple of Kom Ombo - Arrive in Kom Ombo to visit the dual temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Return to the cruise for dinner and continue sailing to Edfu for an overnight stay.
Note: For cruises departing on Mondays and Fridays, sailing to Kom Ombo begins early on day 2 around 5 am. All excursions mentioned in the itinerary will be conducted, but the order may vary according to the cruise schedule.
Edfu temple and arrive Luxor
Temple of Horus - After breakfast, enjoy a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise.
Esna Lock - Relax on deck, taking in the unique landscape and beautiful scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Cross the Esna Lock. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.
Luxor Temple - In the late afternoon, arrive at the Luxor dock and transfer to visit Luxor Temple on the East bank, showcasing ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features. Dinner on board followed by a belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.
