Colossi of Memnon - Moving on to the Colossi of Memnon, situated overlooking the Nile. These colossal statues depict Amenhotep III. Legend has it that a powerful earthquake shattered the northern colossus, and following this event, the lower half of the statue was said to emit a mysterious singing sound, consistently occurring within one to two hours after sunrise. Now, let’s return our focus to your cruise, which will continue its journey towards Edfu.

Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
