Great tour with Tu the tourguide. - Great day-long trip with a wide range of impressive sightseeing. Don't skip the impressive 500 steps walk up the mountain, it's really worth the effort! The boatride was also awesome, with the 'captain' rowing with their feet we went to some magnificent landscapes.

Wonderful trip with the most amazing boat ride. - This was a fabulous tour made even better by our very funny tour guide Long and excellent driver. Long was very knowledgeable and made the whole trip really interesting and fun. The highlight was of course the boat ride with the skilled rowers using their feet to row us through caves and stunning scenery. The rowers do try to sell you the embroidery pictures on the return, ( which are beautiful) but are sold everywhere! The climb up to the very top in hot weather is well worth it for the amazing view, however the steps near the top are narrower so take good care. There is a queue to see the dragon at the top, but it’s not a big space up there and you can see a bit of him. The bicycle ride was fun too and not difficult. All in all a very memorable and enjoyable day.

Amazing views of green and lush Vietnam 🇻🇳 - We loved this tour and Mr.Nam was a super guide. The boat ride, the 500+ steps to see the dragon and the bike ride all offered incredible scenery. The lunch included had good variety and there were a good number of rest breaks throughout the day. It was a busy day but felt quite relaxed.

Full day excursion to Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Ancient town, nothing much to do. Just one temple visit that’s it. 15mins cycling ride in the sun, not fun. Lunch - good buffet with vegetarian options and salads/fruits and desserts. Trang An - beautiful limestone mountains, serene boat ride, mysterious caves on water to pass from under, great experience. Mua caves - 500 steps, difficult but takes 30-40 mins to climb. View is great. Transport - very comfortable limousine, on time pick up and delivery, driver supportive. Guide - Mr. Tu is very patient and knowledgeable to explain everything. On point instructions with wait time, wait area, dos and donts.

Memorable Day tour to Hoa Lu, Trang An and Mua Caves! - It was a very superb experience. We visited the ancient city of Hoa Lu and then took a very calm serene boat ride in Trang An. We were mesmerized by the beauty of the caves, and also on the natural beauty of the mountains all around us. Then we went to hike the Mua caves, although a little tiring but the view from the top was totally worth it. There was vegetarian lunch for us as well and we got to try many local Vietnamese dishes. The tour guide Tu was especially very helpful, and very informative. One of us could not ride a bicycle, so he even arranged a bus pick up and drop for us in Hoa Lu. The entire experience was very good and a memorable one. Thank you Tu and team!

Ninh Binh Detailed review! - Views were amazing, ample time at each location. Hoa lu capital has a tomb that can only be accessed in April. Pretty interesting if you’re a history nerd. Bicycle ride and boat ride was pretty relaxing, food was good as you get a buffet style lunch and not a set menu. You will get raincoat and hat if it sprinkles. Highly recommend you wear good comfortable shoes e.g hiking shoes suited for rocky terrain. Our tour guide Viet and driver were great they gave us tips on how to avoid scams etc. If you want to see the golden rice fields go in April-May, however it will be pretty hot then. Oct temp starts to drop, a little rain but still good and enjoyable. The Mua cave location is where you’ll need the shoes the most as it’s a 500 step climb up and 500 return down there are no lifts etc. My 60yr old parents did it and they were fine just take it easy. Mua caves location is the best stop of the tour, heaps of scenic views below the mountain if you do not wish to climb, there’s a lotus lake with multiple bridges. Tour will provide you with water, there’s charging ports on the bus as well for your phone. Overall great day.

Good but bad - The place is nice and the landscape is beautiful but in my opinion is that is has been quite spoiled by preparing it so much for mass tourism.
