- Hoa Lu Temple - For a county’s capital city, Hoa Lu was a natural geographic choice because of the limestone mountains keeping the city well-hidden from potential invaders. Even today, most of the mountains surrounding Hoa Lu are accessible only to the mountain goats! Northwest of the city is bordered by the Hoang Long River, which also runs through the citadel. It cooled the city in the sticky summer months and provided a convenient waterway for trade and other businesses.
- Tam Coc - With limestone outcrops amid serene rice paddies, Tam Coc is best appreciated on a languorous rowing-boat ride, with the soundtrack of the river lapping against the oars.
- Bich Dong Pagoda - Bich Dong Pagoda is situated at just 3 km away from Tam Coc, Ninh Binh Province. What I loved about it was that there were not many tourists and the place had such a peaceful atmosphere. This pagoda is definitely worth seeing if you are in the Ninh Binh Province for more than two days.

Ralaxed tour with kind guide - It’s fully recommended if you have a plan to tour with old parent. Relaxed and not in a hurry tour will be great. Lunch is also nice with air conditioning restraunt and boat tour is special experience with great sceneries.

Best Service - I joined the Tam Coc one day tour and also the Halong 1 Day Trip 6 Hours Boat Trip . The one day tour to Halong Bay was really memorable. Noted that it is not yet shown up on their official website, but this is the best program. Within a day, you could do everything that was supposed to be in a two-day tour . And you only have to pay USD 50 per person with kayaking, which is cheaper than a two-day program. The tour bus was luxurious, with WIFI and charger. The tour guide was so professional and speak good English.

Ticked the boxes but not great value for money - Ben the guide was very friendly and spoke very good English. The car that drove us to Ninh Binh and back fro Hanoi was comfortable and air conditioned. Hoa Lu and Tam Coc were beautiful. My partner and I felt that we paid a lot of money for a private tour and the lunch was poor quality, the content of the history was general and non-specific and the bike ride was mostly through the town with some nice views but nothing like the mountain top view down over the river and rice fields we were expecting. Thanks for the experience, but there is room for improvement.
