Built in the 18th century, Hoa Lu Temple is a historical site dedicated to two Vietnamese Emperors who ruled in the 10th and 11th centuries. It features defensive earthen walls, palaces, temples, and shrines, all surrounded and protected by limestone mountains.
- Mua Caves - Nestled in the heart of Ninh Binh’s natural splendor, Mua Cave (Hang Mua) has gained popularity, with many travelers dubbing it the “Great Wall of Vietnam” due to its iconic stone steps and breathtaking panoramic views. Situated on Ngoa Long Mountain (Dragon Mountain), Hang Mua offers vistas over the Ngo Dong River and lush green rice fields, and is part of the Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- Hang Gai Street (Street of Hemp) - Enjoy pick-up/drop-off services from hotels within Hanoi’s old quarters or from the meeting point at 27 Hang Bac Street.
ITINERARY
7:30-8:00 AM: Our tour guide will pick you up at suggested hotels around the old quarter.
9:30-9:45 AM: Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 986-1010, where you can learn about the first feudal government of Vietnam.
10:30 AM: Visit Mua Cave, where you can enjoy the impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh city from the top of Dragon Mountain.
12:00 PM: Savor a lunch featuring a variety of traditional foods such as spring rolls and goat meat.
1:00 PM: Explore Tam Coc on a sampan (bamboo boat). Over nearly 2 hours, visitors can immerse themselves in the local culture, the river, limestone mountains, and fields, passing through three caves by boat.
3:00 PM: Cycling: Spend an hour cycling and be captivated by the beauty of the countryside in Northern Vietnam.
4:45 PM: Bid farewell to Ninh Binh.
6:45 PM: Drop-off in Hanoi’s old quarter.

Great adventure - Recommend this trip for nature lovers. It’s serene and beautiful scenery to behold. Our driver and guide Long were both great. Long was funny too.

The Dragon's Lair - While in Ninh Binh, I took the opportunity to climb the 500 steps up a steep track to the Dragon's Lair.
The climb is medium difficulty, following a defined stone path up to the crest of the Mountain.
Once on top, care must be taken to view not only the Dragon, but to follow the length of its body to the Temple sited at its tail.
Breathtaking views over surrounding Countryside to be had.
Return to ground is by same path....

Stunning - Tour was just amazing experience... Unfortunately weather wasn't anything special, but in other hand places wasn't crowded. Trip boat was stunning ! Tour guide Tú and driver were great.

Fun, complete tour and good helpful staff - Very good! The guide was fun, knowledgeable and very energetic. The whole operation was very good and well organized and adopted easily to our needs and requests (like pick up place, luggage storage…). The tour is very complete, diverse and interesting, a little intense if it’s very hot.

title : Ninh Binh trip - Even though the weather was raining, this was an excellent tour. The Bai Dinh complex was amazing and incredibly spiritual. The 1,000 steps was worth the effort to reach another beautiful pagoda. Inside the pagoda's resonate with calm and peace and are magnificent. Go to admire carved statues, gold Buddha and landscaped gardens, but be entranced by the spirituality. Then on to Trang An and a boat trip, where you are rowed, around a very scenic waterway system with caves, islands and lovely scenery. The bicycle trip after lunch was cancelled due to the rain, however the tour was still very good and is highly recommended.

Ninh Binh is incredible! - Wonderful tour and well organized with a very nice guide. Tam coc and the Mua cave are so beautiful and highly recommend if you want to do a quick day trip out of Hanoi. The tour operator was very easy to get a hold of and responding quick when I had questions, she was very kind! Great customer service!

Fantastic trips with Tinny, we booked multiple times - Tinny is very personable and easy to deal with. The pricing was either on par or better than the others.
We booked at least 4 daily travels over a two week period. We recommend Tinny to any travellers to hanoi.

Excellent agency and fantastic tour - Tinny is a very friendly person and has been very helpful to find the best tour for me and with reasonable prices.
The transportation was very comfortable and picked me up sharp on time.
The guide was very good and got me learn a lot more about his beautiful country.
