Please do this, it's magical! - We totally LOVED this trip. It was a very early start at 5.30am but it was all part of the experience to watch the world waking up on the water and the sun coming up. It was a small boat with just room for the two of us, the guide and driver. So it was wonderfully private and we were able to ask to do exactly what we most wanted to do.. My two favourite moments were a) pulling up to another little boat and buying a noodle breakfast from two ladies cooking in the middle of the river.. then having another little boat selling coffee and fresh juice come alongside too. Amazingly memorable. And b) taking the boat down what they call the small canals where you can see up close how people are living. This trip is definitely worth the money. And just the right length of time. Perfect.

A Wonderful Boat Trip - I had a great boat trip with my friends, exploring Cai Rang Floating Market. I love the experience of enjoying the local foods right on the river.
The tour guide was really friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. To be honest, I was afraid at first due to my motion sickness, but she helped me out, and it was not as bad as I had imagined. I ended up enjoying the boat trip to the fullest.

A morning at the floating market. - The early start was essential to see the market at it's busy time. The small boat allowed us passage within close distance to the vendors rather than being limited to the perimeter. Traditional vietnamese breakfast was included along with a visit to see a local family produce glass noodles. We thought the tour was good value and our guide, Lily was fluent in English which made explanations of things so much easier to understand. Highly recommended.
