Awesome floating market tour - If you want a tour that isn’t as touristy as the others, this one is perfect. We went to Phong Dien first which does not have as many vendors, but it was well worth it. After the first floating market, we went to Cai Rang. The whole experience was unforgettable. From our driver, Vung, who was right on time, to our tour guide, Gin (and tonic) who was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great photographer, as well as our boat driver who was hilarious, we had an awesome time that was a once in a lifetime experience.

Perfect day on the floating markets - We took this tour in October 2024 with Nga. She is an absolutely amazing guide - she is knowledgeable, thoughtful, organized, fun, and speaks very good English. Her tours are a must!

The sights and tastes of Vietnam I hoped for - I took a guided tour of Cai Rang and beyond, starting at my hotel, Green Village, near Can Tho. My guide, Ngi, was fantastic. She has extremely good English and is very friendly and easy-going. The boat started right at my hotel and we cruised for about an hour to reach Cai Rng where I had a choice of breakfasts. I chose BBQ pork baguette which was 😋 We then stopped at a café on the river bank where I had a very rich, velvety coffee, then back on the boat to visit a rice noodle factory. They let me "help" 🤣 and I found it both fascinating and impressive. Next we stopped at a boat for a fruit platter and chat with the girls who help their parents run the business. On to the street market for fresh produce which was very colourful and authentic. Ngi was happy to explain everything but didn't overlaid me with facts, perfect balance. She also picked up two bags of snacks for me to take, one was coconut rice crunchy stuff (yummy) and also some prawn crackers. I absolutely loved my adventure with Ngi and can hand on heart recommend.

A unique chance to experience a disappearing world in the Mekong delta - You have to get up very early for this tour, but it’s absolutely worth it. The tour guide, An, is very knowledgeable of the area and the boat skipper has got to be one of the most badass ladies I have ever seen anywhere in the world. As are pretty much all the people (mostly women) who still go about their lives and trades on houseboats and barges in the Mekong delta. A unique and fascinating experience into a slowly disappearing world. Go see it while it still exists.

A must tour when you visit Vietnam - First of all, thank you so much to our tour guide An, our boat driver, and Khoi who drove us from HCM to the floating market! They were all so lovely! An provided us with lots of information as she is one of the people who grew up in the floating market. Hearing her stories was very interesting. We got to visit Phuong Dien floating market which was a small market but we love going to places that aren’t too popular as tourists attractions so this was exactly what we wanted to experience. Next we headed to Cai Rang floating market by boat (on hour ride? Might be tough for those who get sick on transportation) this market was very crowded by trading boats and we got to see people washing clothes and living on the boats, great experience. Next we went to a noodles factory and coconut candy factory. We got to experience noodle making. Then we went to see local farms and An explained to us what each plant is, she is so informative! Lastly we cruised along the Mekong delta and what I loved about this part is that we were taken to an area with no other tourist! Feels so special because all the photos I’ve seen on social media #mekongdelta was crowded by tourists. A suggested if we want to go and see trading in floating markets around lunch, but we were already super happy with our experience and decided to go back to our hotel. We got lots more than mentioned in the itinerary, such a wonderful tour. We stayed in HCM so we paid an extra 2,000,000vnd on the day for a car ride from the hotel in HCM. We departed at 2:30am which was early but definitely worth waking up early! (Plus the car is super comfortable enough to sleep)

A must see for anyone traveling to Ho Chi Minh! - We absolutely loved the floating markets in can tho and would definitely recommend for anyone that is near can tho or Ho Chi Minh. The tour guide took us down the river and to a bunch of different boats selling food and stores on the river. We opted for a shorter tour that was around 3 hours, starting our tour around 6am and thought it was the perfect amount of time to see the markets without spending too much time on the river. The experience was very cultural and definitely a must see for anyone traveling to this area.

Amazing experience with a personal touch - This tour was simply amazing and exactly the Mekong experience that I had been looking for. The tour guide Ann was great as well as the boat guide Txuy. They took me early to see the floating markets and I really enjoyed watching the traders in the little boats for a good while. We then went into small canals with true Mekong feeling savoring small fruit on the go. Txuy made some lovely items (for example a cute grass hopper) from leaves for me (what great skill). I particularly enjoyed breakfast on one of the larger house boats and being treated to authentic and delicious soup and other food. A brief stint at a nudle factory was fun and interesting. We then went on to a local market to see how goods from the water transitioned onto land. I was offered to taste a variety of things that all were really good. I can fully recommend this tour to anyone seeking a great experience with a very personal touch.

Great immersion into life in the Mekong Delta. - We booked our tour the evening before and were promptly picked up by Nhu Y the next morning. It was a beautiful experience to witness the history and life in the Mekong Delta. Nhu Y was super accommodating and explained everything very well. The floating markets were very exciting to see. We helped in the making of rice noodles. Then we went to a fruit garden where we also got to taste. After that, we returned to the floating market to eat a pineapple on a local's boat. Thank you very much for the experience.

More Mekong next time - I was expecting to see more of the Mekong and the floating markets, its why i booked the tour. We only saw 1 when there's 7 or 8 good ones to see. To spend time seeing 2 fish farms instead of what the cruise is called was quite disappointing. It felt like we were doing odd stuff to just fill in the hours. The guide was obliging.

Expensive tour - The tour to the floating market was great and it was worth getting up early. Pick up on time, small group of 4 people and a dedicated, friendly Nga as a guide. Delicious sticky rice and coffee enjoyed in the middle of the market with the sunrise. Unfortunately, you tend to quickly miss the other points such as the village, local life, orchard and rice noodle farm. And I find the price of the tour at €63 to be much too high. I wouldn't do it again.
