- Nizwa Souk - While in Nizwa, never miss the opportunity to enjoy the traditional and historical souq, where everything always feels authentic and genuine. Nizwa Souq is a great place to explore and buy fruits, Omani coffee, Halwa, souvenirs, and everything in between.
It also includes many traditional local crafts such as making daggers, pottery, silver, copper, spinning, selling livestock, fish, vegetables, and handicrafts.
- Nizwa Fort Oman - Al-Shahba is what is called the most famous landmark in Nizwa; it’s Nizwa Fort, a combination of a castle, a fort, and a museum distinguished by its unique architecture. It’s also considered one of the oldest forts in Oman, as it was built in the seventeenth century.
- Nizwa - Simulate living in the 1500-year-old Al-Aqar neighborhood through the “Nizwa Tourist Cars,” which are open-top electric cars, and through electric scooters that enable you to drive in the narrow alleys inside Al-Aqer, which is surrounded by a two-kilometer wall and contains four gates called “Sabahat.”
At the end of the tour, enjoy an authentic Omani lunch in the comfort of a local restaurant. Then drive back to Muscat.
