Day in Oman, Well Spent! - Khalid took us on an amazing adventure on our trip to Nizwa, both the Fort (lots of information and Khalid has amazing photography skills!) and the Souq (even assisted us with the shopping!). We then made our way to Jabal AlAkhdar, followed by a trip to Birkat Al Mouz. It was completely educational but also very fun. Khalid knew how to hold a conversation and also to take care of us during the whole tour. It was 50 degrees Celsius but he tried to keep us cool as much as possible. Overall, we had a great day and the only thing bad was the weather. Other than that, no complaints at all. Thank you, Sunshine Tours and Khalid! You made our trip to Oman memorable! 🇴🇲

Great experience with knowledgeable staff - Phenomenal experience! Green Mountain is beautiful, and the drive has some amazing scenery along the way. The fort and souq were super interesting. My tour guide (Said Alkiyumi) was friendly and shared information about every place we visited. He was able to provide insight into the general history/culture of Oman and even provided restaurant recommendations.

Amazing views, interesting history, and an awesome tour guide! - This was my second tour with Sunshine Tours and it exceeded all my expectations! Hamood was our guide for the day and he was ready and waiting in the hotel lobby when we came down. We headed out for Nizwa and he gave us the outline for what to expect of the day which was nice. We chatted with him about everyday life in Oman on the trip to Nizwa. The Fort and Souq were great to visit, we got to taste some dates and other treats as we walked around the Souq and Hamood gave us a personal tour of the Fort, explaining clearly its history. Next we headed for Jebel Shams which is a very impressive drive up, and up, and up! Just when you think you’re at the top of the mountain, there’s more! The views at the top are worth the drive!! Hamood made some stops to point out abandoned villages we never would’ve seen as they’re built in to mountain/ hillsides. Our last stop was to an old village that has been restored into guest houses. It’s really neat to walk the narrow corridors and see the old irrigation system. We had an amazing time on this tour and would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the history of Oman and have an adventure.

Incredible tour, with the kindest Omani gentleman. - It’s hard to express how fantastic our experience with sunshine tours was, a day out with one of the most intelligent, interesting and kindest guides; Muhammed. This is a tour company with a difference, delivering an experience of Oman that we will never forget, the passion and information we learned from Muhammed was just incredible. His vast knowledge of the country, the places we visited, the items they sold, his friends we met, the pictures he took and sent after; just amazing. You can’t pay a guide to have this, he has these skills gained over a lifetime of touring, living Omani life and a kind heart. From the start, fresh cold water in hand, the tour then adapted to our specific interests, every detail listened too, staying longer in some places and with lots of local refreshments along the way, even sharing his lunch with us. None of which in the tour cost, just a kind and passionate man, making our trip the best it possibly could be. We felt part of Muhammad’s family, his life, his soul, a gent we now call a friend with an ethos we both highly admire. There is no other tour experience in my 50 years, that has been so incredible- thank you Mohammed, Zena and family - you made our entire holiday. X

Unforgettable Trip to Oman - We had a wonderful time in Oman and thanks to our very friendly guide, Aziz! We had a total of 3 1/2 day tours with him but my favourite were the Nizwa-Jebel Shams Tour and Wahiba Sands Tour. Aziz patiently answered all our questions, drove us safely around Oman, and proactively took pictures of my family. My son likes him very much and Aziz often entertained him. Through him, we learned so much about Oman and its culture. Also when I was booking the tours, Maymona from Sunshine was patient enough to answer all my questions and change some of the tour dates. Overall, I highly recommend Sunshine Tours for a pleasant and knowledgeable trip to Oman.

Wonderful Day Trip! - I really enjoyed the day tour to Nizwa & Jebel Shams, it was a long trip but worth it, the old fort, castle, and amazing views of mountains and local houses. Aziz is a wonderful tour guide, gentle, friendly, and professional. Answered all my questions with patience and gave me enough time for taking photos. I learned so many things about Oman and Islam from this tour. High recommend it.

Let down. - We were left waiting in hotel reception for tour that was cancelled without notification. Tour operator contacted and claimed they did not have a booking despite the fact we had received a confirmation e mail from Trip Advisor. Who was at fault? I don’t know, but caution recommended.
