Four-wheel cars can drive all the way to the new village but to access the old village, one must climb down one side of the mountain, cross a wooden bridge, and climb another to reach the old houses.
    Cliff Guest House started with one room, then after three years cliff house become attractive for many travellers going to Jebel Akhdar, and then now they have 7 rooms and more for renovations with the mountain cliff view, its traditional old style built by stone from the mountain.
    They have different suites, double room, and twin room they have the modernize bathroom and beds for the comfort of the guest. The food served are being cooked by Mohammed al Shu reiki family. The Cliff Guest House allows you to enjoy nature. Al Suwjara was more than 500 years old. Al Suwjara Village name from the trees Sugar founded in the village.

Birkat Al Mouz Old Village-Irrigation System of Al Kattmyn - Jebel Akhdar - Al Suwjara Village

We depart Muscat drive to the foot of Jebel Akhdar, an old village called Birkat Al Mauz, from there we go up to Jebel Akhdar also known as the Green Mountain, Jebel Akhdar houses many fruit plantations and rose gardens. Take the time to walk through the hills and cherish the valley views. There is a lot Jebel Akhdar has to offer, like the Diana Point where Princess Diana stop in that place then after that we continue drive to Al Suwjara Old Village ‘The Cliff Guest House’ The village of Al Suwjara gives an example of an ancient Omani village whose houses were built with mud and stone, where ancient heritage was mixed with the beauty of modern ideas to generate a wonderful tourist village then drive back to Muscat.

Amazing unforgettable experience - It was a great night camping at al jabel al akhdhar. There was a cannoying view, it was looking amazing and sunset is beautiful. The night weather is pleasent and the sky is full of stars. The tour guid was informative, carrying and friendly. Everything was fantastic. This sunshine tour company is very safe for the women solo traveller. Thank you so much for the unforgettable experience.

Al suwjara village - It was amazing time to explore the abandoned village of Birkat al mouz old village with natural beauty. Our guide very kind and he help us to take a nice pictures and videos while we are enjoying for walking around the place. Then also the al suwjara village was beautiful views from the top. When i reached on the top of the village it's so worth it:) to see the beautiful views of the mountains.
