- Nizwa Souk - The site of one of the oldest souqs in the country, this extensive marketplace is dedicated mostly to fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, all of which are housed in separate blocks behind the great, crenellated piece of city wall that overlooks the wadi. Part of the souq (nearest the fort) is dedicated to handicrafts and caters specifically to the passing tourist trade.

Unforgettable - We were with friends in the mountains and in the ancient city of Nizwa. Very much enjoyed, the guide brightened the whole trip with interesting stories about the country and culture of Oman. The tour was 10 out of 10. The lowland shrouded us in its ancient and mysterious atmosphere, and the Mountains struck us to the core, and the smell of the Damascus rose is incredible! Everyone is advised to see this!

It was great! - My husband and I wanted to immerse themselves in the history of Oman, the choice fell on the old town of Nizwa. We booked a tour and had incredible pleasure, not only from the ancient city, but also from the beauty and freshness of the mountains! It was hot, but the guide always had water and umbrellas for us. Client orientation, knowledge of history, courtesy of Ilya, made this tour even better!

Nizwa and the Mountains - We were in February, the mountains are amazing! It was particularly cool to watch rose water being made, it's o fun! Niza in general is a very authentic place with a special history and a stunning fort! We were actually shocked at how cool our day was)

Great complete tour! - Great complete tour to visit a historical place (that had an amazing restoration) : The Nizwa fort and then do some great trekking at the beautiful green mountain with inspiring views. Khalil was my guide and he was very kind, patient and amicable.

Spectacular ! - A great day out ! Spectacular scenery and a wonderful way to see more of Muscat and the surrounding areas! Nizwa Fort and souk were an added bonus and well worth the visit. Couldn’t believe the mountains and the road we climbed - unbelievable ! Lunch was provided and was reasonable. Our guide was great and the car was first class. We also wanted to visit Anantara Resort which our guide sorted for us and was also amazing. A longish day but well worth it.
