Nizwa Fort and Souk is the most important town in this area of the interior and is noted for its 17th-century fort and atmospheric souks full of silversmiths’ art, especially ornately engraved Khanjars and the history of Oman.
Most visiting day is Friday you can explore live cattle market and the souq for vegetables and fruits. (Note: Need to leave in Muscat early morning to reach the live cattle market)
Bahla Fort-is a magnificent fort included in the World UNESCO Heritage Sites and the Pot factory. It is notable as the home of one of the oldest fortresses in the country, the 13th-century Bahla Fort and the old villages.
Jabreen Castle-The historic and impressive castle, which was built by the Yaruba dynasty Imam Bil’arab bin Sultan, who ruled from 1679 to 1692.
